It's a little insensitive when you talk about "ratio" as if your for one assuming that college is merely for "hooks up". Also not all guys go for girls and not all girls go for guys.

Oh please, Skidmore isn't ANYTHING like this guy is intimating. 🙄 I ACTUALLY visited (like I did with pretty much EVERY SINGLE college I applied to) the Skidmore campus BEFORE even applying to the college, which is important to do so you don't end up making dumb and ignorant videos like this one about: "The Great Divide" which doesn't even EXIST at Skidmore. ANYWAY..............🤪 Yes, Skidmore is a college of 2,500 students in upstate NY in Saratoga Springs, about 3.5 hours north of NYC (where I hail from) and about 45 minutes north of Albany (the nearest largest urban area to campus) and is a modern campus located in a beautiful natural setting. Skidmore is NOT a "jock" school -- let's just start there. There are definitely athletic Skidmore students, but it's not like this guy is making it out to be. In fact, most Skidmore students I met were creative, intellectual, well-spoken and intensely intelligent. There are NO Frats & Sororities at Skidmore (TG 🙏) so it eliminates that whole: "Greek Life Beer Kegger PAAAAARTY!" stupid mentality. Therefore, I have NO IDEA what this guy is even talking about. The dorms/apartments at Skidmore are SIGNIFICANTLY BETTER than most other small liberal arts colleges on average. I filled out the roommate questionnaire, and (back at the time I was applying to Skidmore ANYWAY) they did match me with someone based on common interests. It was for a Double room in a suite setting (although I also had requested a single room) and that was fine, and it was in McClellan Hall, which is a VERY nice dorm in the South Quad area of campus. They also alternatively offered me a single room in a Jonsson Tower suite in the North Quad area of campus, so I thought the Skidmore Housing Office was pretty amenable to working with incoming first-year students on meeting their housing needs. 👍 I figured after my first year in the dorms at Skidmore I'd transition into the apartment-style residences for my final three years at Skidmore, and they also looked FANTASTIC! Northwoods and Upper & Lower Sussman all looked great when I toured them, VERY nice and high-quality, high-end apartment living. Skidmore has GREAT residences -- the only way to really know is to go and visit the campus and see the residences for yourself.

We visited too and I have to say loved everything except the dorm room we saw. The room itself wasn't terrible but it was a triple and hard to imagine 3 people living in there but what really got me what the very narrow and dark hallways and the very small bathroom....
