    Yes sir. That's a good skidder. I own one with 24.5 32 .and I do select cutting in PA. I have run dual arc to. But for PA. It's the best thing I have used. Stay safe log on.

    What I saw a skidder do going up a hill - He would use the logs pushing him up the hill by not letting go and close and they push back. Raise high and go a bit then loop back in the push down and pull in then rise as you push outward and it helps. loop back... method. 🙂

    Mine. Too. , stump had me running cable skidder at about. 11/12 year old. , somes. Times was tough for me pulling cable through shit, so was shown. , and learned how to winch a cable right. , so it would free wheel easier,, my best day. Was about 15 yr old. I pulled and bucked. 11,000 ft. Stump and his buddy was cutting. It was nice oak timber. Got pictures of pile that day somewhere

    The tigercat bogie has revolutionized the timber industry. The tracks an extra wheel can pull an hold up on ground pressure. And pull more wood than a 4 wheel skidder. The price is the only downfall.

    Beech trees keep their leaves all winter. That and their slick bark is how you know them. Some white oaks keep a few leaves here but their rough bark gives them away.

    I didn't see the miss tree but a hell of a job driver!! We just cable skid , our fleets all old iron 2-tj 205(just little girls but I love em) 1-225 tj and a 240 tj with an extended from ! I've noticed tho that the woodlots in your area are opened up more then ours . Makes sense to run a grapple rather then the cable rigs!!

    That's a hell of a pull for a dual arch machine even. That soft ground steals all of your power. I have 28Ls on my skidder and they suck!!!

    A dual arch skidder is easier to push to push yourself out with. And some chains would be a bonus. Lol

    Add some tire chains and she would be a hole different machine. We’re still cable skidding with 240 timberjacks and we tried one summer on new tire and after a week we put the chains back on the tires because we were sick of spinning on wood

    Have you ever thought of running wheel tracks on one of your skidders? From Crandall Logging in Vermont where we run chains on every thing we work in deep mud deep snow and steep ground.

    We made a ton of money with our 450 jack single arch but dual arch is better for mud just my opinion haha

    I got In a real soft patch of woods here and rented a 648l with 73 44s on it and its freakin amazing what the difference is in the 30.5 32 what it floating over and not rutting up terrible....been super wet here I'm looking for a set for my g3 now

    Wade the red talbert trailer at ritchie brothers had a wood that looked like what we put on truck beds at the first job i worked it was caused apitong amd would burn up a drill bit after 3 holes i think it was from asia

    Oh yes when on a hill side always straight up and down and lay a small maple tree crossways and use them like a ladder rung good luck and be careful

    Hay wade hanging in all them popular trees is making you popular get it 🤣😂🤣😂 lol any way show erma some love give her some Lucas grease in joints and some premium oil and get off that low suffer diesel she will cuddle up to you per sweet nothings in your ear LOL😂😂 like you said the ground like baby poop and you get a big long machine heavy is going to sink so your objective is not obtained A good illustration two guys who are experienced and cutting trees with axes Both the same Same years experience differences is 1 get a $40 axe the are sharper than a Razor blade both handles of high-quality wood handles Both axe weigh are the same The other one is a $300 axe and razor blade sharp the end of the day both guys cut down wood The guy with the expensive axe Has 1 extra Log in so Was it worth the extra expense Bottom line is can’t tell the difference why pay the difference And like you said experience experience
