@@ceresa21 Bach admittedly used effects like reverb both on the albums and especially live because in his words they "sounded cool". lol Even without the effects though he had and still has one hell of a voice. He's still cranking with his current band even so he's taken care of his chords obviously. I don't explicitly remember pitch correct being one of them but like in the rest of life... I could be wrong.

He was amazing and LOVE the 1st Album, but QuickSand Jesus and Darkened Room and a few others on their next one are so Amazing and Spiritual.

That solo is fucking devastating. One of the best in this era.

The sound of the guitar during the solo is probably the best sounding guitar I've ever heard. The pronunciation in the notes is off the charts. Every time I hear that solo it literally goes right through me.

Some singer's voices can portray the emotions of the soul. His does.

There are many artists with incredible vocal range. Bach is at the top. He’s one of the best rock screams ever!

I saw Skid Row, but unfortunately, without Sebastien Bach

I always felt that the song was for the homeless guy walking in the video. That guy was singing about his wife/girlfriend who had died. Notice the moment he stares at the tombstones. He was in pictures with the girl. After she died, his life spiraled out of control, and he ended up on the street. Walking around, staring at pictures. Great song.

Yeah, that was the "Big Hair" bands of the '80's; replaced by the "Grunge" bands of the '90's...

His “yeah” at the end is the best. This was a staple in my 20’s. I just turned 50. Still so solid!

Those high vocals at the end give me goosebumps every time.

Man, I remember back in the day. Sebastian Bach had it all, pretty boy face, amazing hair, and could sing as well as anyone. We were pretty sure he was getting all the girls. Lol

To this day I will stop everything and just listen to white lion and when the children cry. It makes you think and we were the children of that time.

One of favorite songs of all time. Sebastian Bach could put so much emotion in his singing that you are left stunned.

This takes me back. My other favorite from this era was a band called White Lion. Listen to When the Children Cry and get some feels poppin.

Sebastian has preformed on Broadway as well, he has a legit set of pipes...

Played Jesus Christ in Jesus Christ Superstar. Got to see that show. HOLY SHIT!!! I love him singing rock but he KILLED IT on Broadway.

This was my brother's favorite band in the 80s. He has passed away several years ago now but every time I hear this song it takes me back to the early 80s when we were all young and together ❤

I was right in front when they performed this first time... absolutely flawless performance entire show... Mouth hanging open......I've seen them numerous times...no disappointments...... They actually opened for Bon Jovi ... Their first tour I believe.....80s baby....best decade of my life... Some Great Hair Metal, Skid Row definitely a Great Band that you can't live without 🤘🔥👊✌️🙏

One of my favorites by them 💗. His voice is so pure and can be haunting at times and the range....oh my goodness. I always thought this was about someone losing their partner to death but according to the writers it's just about partners leaving and the one left behind is do crushed. Sad 😓. Stay safe 🕊️

This song...damn, a lotta memories 💗 There a few voices in music that are unique and can never be duplicated. This man here has one of them.

Sebastian Bach is the lone Bahaman in his band, rest of them Americans. What a vocal range! SB made a guest appearance in tv show Gilmore Girls! Unusual!

The live version live at Wembley Stadium is well worth a second reaction.

You can’t dip your toes into the Skid Row pool without reacting to Monkey Business and, of course, Wasted Time.

Yes they were all around in the 80’s!! Awesome time for music!! This song really showcases his beautiful vocals!!

The 80s hair band singers' voices are BEYOND. ok. I didn't realize when i was 12, but now in my early 40s. Crazy. They are Fantastic musicians too. I miss them all. LA Guns, Skid Row, Guns n Roses, Extreme, Poison, Motley Crue, Cinderella...so many more.

I saw Sebastian Bach open the New York Steel benefit concert, Nov. 2001. After his set at the concert, he went and performed on Broadway as Riff Raff in the Rocky Horror Picture Show. Sebastian then returned to the concert to perform at the finale. His voice was as clear and strong, from start to finish.

Quintessential 80s rock ballad. What more could you ask for? Awesome song.

I think cause of Sebastian Bach’s operatic style they got some association with pop and glam rock with their first big album, but I remember Slave to the Grind being a legit hard rock album that was totally listenable to me as a heavy metal guy.

I grew up listening to SKIDROW & YES Sebastian Bach was in love and she passed away and this song was dedicated to her and this is the best era of music back in the day that I love so much! AMAZING REACTION!!!

I cannot hear this song without crying, it takes me straight back to the very year it came out and dating my first husband, the father of my only kids, and this is how we felt... this was our song. All gone with the wind now and forever in the past...

Dave Sabo (lead guitarist) is a schoolmate of Jon Bon Jovi. They are still friends. Jon Bon Jovi helped both Skid Row and Cinderella with recording contracts. Even took Skid Row out as their opening act in 1988-1989. Note: Tom Keifer (singer-Cinderella) noted that Gene Simmons 'discovered' them, but it was Jon badgering PolyGram (Records) that got them a development deal and then their hard work got them signed.

This song reminds me of my best friend. I lost him in 1989. I love him today just as much as then. 💜Joseph💜 I remember you!

Piece of Me live on SNL. Monkey Business, official video. The Threat. Slave to the Grind. Living on a Chain Gang. Psycho Love. You know, Axl and Sebastian were good friends. They toured together more than once. You can look up Sebastian's Solo Album, Angel Down, which features three tunes with Axl on guest vox for three tunes. This was after Axl went missing following the dissolution of GNR, and before Chinese Democracy. Axl had been gone for 10 years or so. They sing (Love Is) a Bitchslap, Stuck Inside and cover Aerosmith's Back In the Saddle on that album. There's tons of footage of them singing My Michelle and You're Crazy at the concerts they did together, and footage from a RIP magazine party of GNR, Skid Row and Metallica doing covers of each others songs. Sebastian did background vocals on a song from Chinese Democracy, too. You hear Bon Jovi because Snake Sabo, the guitarist, grew up with Jon. They promised each other if one of them made it big, they would help the other get famous too. Jon got his manager to sign them, and they opened the Slippery When Wet tour with this album. Their second album, Slave to the Grind is their best album. They took Pantera and Soundgarden out on tour as their opener that tour. They did an album of covers, which is killer, and one more album called Subhuman Race, which has a couple decent songs on it, then kicked Sebastian out. They reformed with a different singer and drummer, and changed line ups half a dozen times. They're still touring and recording music. Sebastian has had several solo albums, had his own show on VH1, featured on several other shows on VH1, was the leading man in 3 broadway shows, worked with just about everyone, acted in movies, the tv shows Gilmore Girls, and Trailer Park Boys, and wrote a book. He's an endlessly enthusiastic rocker dude.

The era of “The Hair Bands” brought us the BEST ROCK POWER BALLADS IN MUSIC EVER!! The CD “Monster Ballads” has all of the great ones!

Few songs take me back to high school days like this one. I think I was a junior in high school when it came out. It always reminds me of my high school girl. I don't want to revisit those days and I don't want her back. But I'll never forget her either.

I miss the 70s-80s!!

The 80's and the 90's are the golden ages for almost all kind of rock and metal music. Almost all of the big bands were there in some moment of their music path.

Takes me right back to high school. There was no better time to grow up than the 80s. Great music, everybody got along with everyone, parents didn’t seem to have to be in constant contact with their kids. You could leave the house at the crack of dawn, tell your parents you’d be home later and nobody had to call to check up on you. Just a more innocent time before the world went crazy and social media destroyed everyone.

Chris Cornell is on one side of the coin, Bach’s on the other.

Skid Row actually opened for Bon Jovi during the Slippery When Wet tour. My mom and sister met Sebastian Bach when they were here in Tucson. He came out in a towel, having just taken a shower. Had my mom hold his towel on his waist while he signed an autograph for them. 😄

Many Years since I heard this song, memories from the 80s and our girl friends times precious past and new ones to be.. Just a look in her eyes (gateway to our souls) mutually can say yes I love you also..

If you want to push Tesla, how can you leave out "What You Give"? One of the greatest songs ever.

Yes! They toured with GnR!! You must watch the live video at Wimbley Stadium 1991 i believe!! Hearing his voice live is AMAZING!

One of my favorite songs. Thank you. Another power ballad worth hearing is "Fly to the Angels" by Slaughter. BEAUTIFUL song. "Heaven awaits your heart, the flowers bloom in your name."

I've seen Skid Row a couple of times in concert. Once with Bon Jovi and another time with Kiss. Both times they were absolutely amazing. Great reaction!! 🙂

React to "Skid Row - Slave To The Grind (Official Music Video)" and "Skid Row - Youth Gone Wild (Official Music Video)" You have also not reacted to another band from the 80s that is similar, Warrant. More than likely have heard their megahit, "Cherry Pie", so I would suggest "Warrant - Uncle Tom's Cabin (Official Video)", "Warrant - Down Boys (Official Video)", and "Warrant - Heaven (Official Video)"

Sebastian is one of the greatest vocalists the rock world has ever known. I saw them live back in the early 90s and dude has pipes!

When I went to Guns and Roses concert (in college, ten million years ago) Skd Row was their opening act. Timeless music.
