Would you belive that just about a year ago erik fought for his life against cancer and beat the shit out of it. His career pretty much started with an audition for Idol Sweden in 2009 with 18 and life, and now he´s here. The circle is closing I´d say. Congrats Erik you deserve it.

Indeed he does!💪 I'll buy a ticket for a festival this summer. Skid Row is going to be there. I want be there, mostly because of Skid Row and Hammerfall!🤘🤘🤘

Been a Skid Row fan since their debut album. I saw them numerous times between 1989-1995, and I met them once in 1991. I love their new album and I love Erik as our new singer! Skid Row is back, baby. LFG!

Brilliant. He gives the energy the band needed. Look at the reaction from Snake when Erik called him sexy, so funny. Cant wait to see them. This show was 4 days after he meet the band for the first time.

Have been a fan of Erik and his previous band H.E.A.T for about the past 10 years or so and have seen him perform live a few times. The last time I saw him was on the 2020 Monsters of Rock Cruise and the whole boat was buzzing about him and HEAT. I'd say check that band out if you like what you see/hear with Erik because they were phenomenal. And to top it all off, this guy can sing as he won Swedish Idol. I know there are Skid Row fans that will never accept anybody besides Bach and that's fine. But Erik is definitely one of the best front men I've had the pleasure to witness live and I look forward to seeing/hearing what the future brings for Skid Row. I really think they could make a melodic hard rock album that challenges some of their best work. And lastly, Erik is one of the nicest and most humble people you'd ever want to meet so is a very easy guy to root for. Not to mention these videos are his first live performance in about two years as he battled leukemia. Pretty amazing stuff IMO.

I ve met this guy and enjoy him with HEAT twice. He s the fucking energy itself....Skidrow is his favorite band. He ll shock the world. And don't forget that he met his band mates on Tuesday, rehearsed a few times and then he played live...

He got accepted to Swedish Idol 12 years ago signing 18 and a life. He won it. Was the singer of H.E.A.T. for 11 years. Has his own KZread channel.

Erik is pretty amazing....super nice dude too. Skids are LUCKY to have him...and HOPEFULLY this is the marriage they have been waiting for.

This dude sounds solid. I'll be honest. I haven't paid attention to this band since Bach wa sin the band. But I'll be giving this album a listen, and hopefully more. The new single is quite good.

H.E.A.T are incredible, only discovered them November last year but they’re legendary to me now

Erik did 18 and life for his audition to Swedish Idol back in 2009 and ended up winning the whole thing. Since then he's been the singer in H.E.AT up until last year. He was treated for cancer last year and went almost directly into this after his recovery. He's absolutely amazing, makes me proud to be from Sweden! 😊🤘

He's so worthy this gig! Used to see him in stockholm doing Skidrow karaoke. Well, he was awesome already back then. Really getting the Rockstar vibe with Mark Wahlberg.

He's doing a great job. He may lack the charisma of Seb but the passion is there in spades. Has the vocal chops. I wish him well.

New singer is great. I'm glad they finally got a good singer that can sing Sebastian's material.

This is exactly what these guys needed, young blood and hunger!!

I had my doubts when I first looked at him, but he actually did good and didn't just try to emulate Sebastian Bach. That's the hardest thing to try to do when dealing with a really good singer, is to make the song your own

Maybe people have suggested this already, but you should check out, H.e.a.t. Its funny, same story when he joined, H.e.a.t. People did not take him seriously, which I understand at the time, but people, including me was wrong. He saved, H.e.a.t, I believe he could or most certainly will save, Skid Row.

This guy is so damn good. Liked zp but erik is such a better fit. Actually hyped for the new album. Judging from the first single sounds like were going back to the sound from their debut

The only singer right now that could keep up with him in my opinion is Adam lambert but I prefer Eric this has gave me a breath of fresh air again on rock music can’t wait for the album to come out 👊🏼

There are a lot of good singers out there. Check out for Ronnie Romero for example. But yeah Erik is an amazing vocalist

Erik usually has long blonde hair but he just went through cancer/chemo.. He's also a bit under his normal weight.. He'll get it all back soon enough.

if they wait until know this is it.just great 👍.I think Neil Turbin could be good to.they say they don't do it for money.but if they make a reunion it's gonna be explosive.good for them and great for the fan's.I hope they keep this guy for long.

Erik Gronwall's Vocals can't touch Sabastian Bach! I have to differ in my opinion, just like Geoff Tate not being with Queensryche, there is NO SKID ROW WITHOUT SEBASTIÁN BACH!!! They should have changed the name of the Band! Todd LA Tore is a great Vocalist, but it's NOT Queensryche! Van Halen, Iron Maiden and AC/DC are the ONLY Bands to ever survive losing/replacing a Lead Vocalist!!!

The guy may be good, and all that, but....I just can't......This just isn't gonna work for me.....Sorry.....

I might be wrong, but...trying to sell a product that everybody's familiar with, then adding an "unfamiliar piece/part" , is a recipe for playing county fairs, high school proms, and assorted bar mitzvahs....A few bands have had monstrous success doing this, but... most lose their mojo, after that. Usually, replacing a lead singer just doesn't work, unless it's a "nostalgia-act"....(such as Queen, and a few others)....

@@j.s.8496 Yeah at least Queen can admit that it's a nostalgia act. Everything Skid Row seems to be doing sounds kind of dated rather than timeless. And this new kid just doesn't seem to have what it takes image wise to front a band like Skid Row, or the Skid Row most people remember. He just doesn't have the right look and the right stage presence and attitude. I don't see them doing arena shows again unless it's part of some double triple or quadruple hair metal 80s band compilation ticket with one really big headliner

Sebastian can't sing now, and sounds awful nowadays. Erik is killing and the band sounds amazing. I think it's time Sebastian retired, he's washed up, his voice is shot and Skid Row are killing it right now. Sebastian just needs to stop already.I can't believe you'd rather have the band suck than sound incredible like this?

good singer but Sebastian Bach is the king kick ass singer for the band.

That's ridicolous man, the original musicians can't do covers of their own original music regardless of who is singing. By the way Bach can't sing for shit anymore and has nothing on Erik who absolutely kicks his ass singing the Skid Row songs, or any other song for that matter.

Great review he did great. But we both know that Sebastian Bach would not open for skid row. Even though he has great solo material he made them songs from Skid Row sound the way they do or did. Before Sebastian they had a Jon Bon Jovi style singer and it just didn't work right. Plus he co-wrote almost half of Slave to the Grind album. Although I would like to see it he is not going to show up and listen to someone else sing his songs. Although the music is great let's face it his voice made those songs famous

He told us in his livestream yesterday he was exhausted after those shows, because he hasn't regain the strength after his bone marrow transplantation in August. Nowadays its better, on 60-70 %, he says.

@@mortoncounts7955 Sebastian didn't write anything btw Dave and Rachel wrote all the songs and that is why he gets no publishing royalties, because he didn't write anything. Scotti co-wrote some stuff though. Sebastian has one slight mention on the song Makin' a Mess off the first album and that's it. Google if Baz had any songwriting credit and it'll tell you, but I already knew that because I knew that and I can also look inside the cd jacket and see for myself, Makin' a Mess....Bolan/Sabo/Bach.
