This run is great all day until about 4 o'clock when everyone and their grandma decide it's a good idea to ski back down after folie on their second day of skiing instead of taking the lift

Ouah !!! J’adore cette piste également mais j’avoue la faire en 2’10 👌👌👏👏 c’est vraiment phénoménal
Awesome. Love these run videos. Keep them coming.
Speed trap apparently went in at the bottom after a death a few years back. This, along with Combe de Caron in Val Thorens are two of my favourite Black pistes.
In the time Graham took to do that I think I would have just got my second turn in.

I might have managed to get my skis on
Trolles is great, you just need to pick your time. Really miss flying down that sucker😅
Wow thats the best fastest ive seen Graham do mic in hand - scary fast for us meer skimortals
Love the trolles
I went down during half term week, and it was full of way too many people who just couldn't ski it. A really fun piste though.
I do enjoy your videos. I have a hard time appreciating the run at the speed you ski but to each his own. I would love to ski a few of the runs you shown but perhaps a little bit slower.
At 1min 18secs he says not a lot of people come down this run. I guess he doesn’t ski this run in the afternoon… It’s actually the most crowded black run in Tignes from about 3pm onwards. Basically the only run back into Tignes le Lac from the Val d’Isere direction. The “narrow” part near the gondola is often a traffic jam late afternoon. 😢
What camera was being used to film the Piste and himself??
0:10 I lost my favourite hip flask off to the right of the start of this run back in 1998 - we were taking an off-piste route. If any one found it can you let me know. I still miss it.

Why do carry a hip flask when you’re skiing? Do you carry one when you’re driving?

Did you tell them in advance that you are going? So they have prepared pistes for you? Because usually they are in pretty bad shape, even in the mornings.
Was this the last day skiing before COVID-19 ruined the season

Have resorts been closed down?
Did it in 2009 on a snowboard, you don't get the sense on this video, it's like going over a cliff when you switch from red to the black. You also have to get some speed as it feels like you have an audience coming back into the town. Was great first run of day but like most of the runs near the lifts in Tignes gets heavily mogulled by afternoon.
i worked i a chalet at the bottom of trolles in the mid ninties
How fast did he go?

2.2 km in 2 min = 66 km/h (average)
They've changed it now you can't tuck down there anymore . Probably because of the kids school and wot not

You can tuck there now, there's no slowdown signs even. I got 106kmh down there

You can definitely tuck down the last part. Got 69.3 mph on my Strava in February this year 🙂
Uhm. A black run's when you can't see over the end of your skis. This is red at best and sometimes blue.

Nearly every black run has flatter parts. And the first part of this footage isn't on the black run as Graham made clear. The run Graham is on certainly has very steep parts from 1:30 onwards. And mostly you can see over the end of your skis even when it's steep unless you're leaning all the way back. Maybe not so much if on a ledge but that's not the issue.

The steepest part starts from 1:25, the max slope here is 64% - quite steep.

Combe folle from the top is red, from 1.06 it's Trolles, a black, and it's steep, great.

Everything’s a blue on video but when you actually get there all of a sudden it’s different
