Sketchiest Trail I've Ever Ridden
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
In this video I catch up with @TermiteOffroad and we ride in the southern part of DeSoto National Forest. He has a 90 mile loop that he has mapped out that we tackle. We run into all different types of elements and even one trail that becomes the sketchiest trail I've ever had to ride. We stop for lunch and met up with @SaddleTrampTV and @themissuscostelli497

Yea it was a lot of fun. I will say it is very nice to be so close to both him and wes and to have common interests among all of us. Thanks for watching.
You got into just about everything here! Dust, hard rain, wet asphalt and some RUTS! Just keep getting your tires dirty and it'll come to you, fo' sho'. My advice from watching this video is to loosen up while you are standing up. Get into a sort of "attack position" with your knees bent, your butt towards the back to the seat more, and leaning slightly forward at the waist. You can shift your position instantly, forwards or backwards, and maybe most importantly, you are in a good position to pull back on the bars to "float" over bumps much better. Changing positions and look where you want to go, not where you are. When you look down at your front wheel, you get wobbly and can auger into the ground before you know it. I think that's what happened with Termite... looking down and not forward. But that's obviously just a guess, based on doing the same thing myself a hundred times :)

Hahaha.. yea I agree with the loosening up. I think in order to do that I'm going to need to get a little bit of some risers to help and when I try to lean down I'm way to far over the bars and not comfortable. Like bending my knees too much. But also I need to be out there riding these types of roads more than ones or twice a year as well.

@@theadventurousrider Yeah, some taller risers or bars would definitely be helpful. A CR High bend bar might be useful.

Thank you Mike. It was easier than I thought it would be after I got it working. Just took a little patience to do it.
What a great adventure. You sure traveled some technical roads on this video. Keep up the great work!

Yea but going down was the easy part as if you fall you get to the bottom of the hill quicker .... Coming up is the harder part as if you fall going up you have to redo part of what you already done...🤣🤣🤣

@@theadventurousrider ok, maybe that part you should do, ride dirt often. I am very lucky to have a lot of great riding here, on snd off pavement. I better never complain!
Nice video 👍 Are you using a DJI on the chin mount?
