If it were televised, Trump could turn it into a campaign event where everything he says and does is just for the cameras to get his followers riled up. With no cameras, we unfortunately don’t get to see exactly what happened, but the focus is more likely to be on deciding whether a crime was committed than on Trump making himself out to be a martyr.

Regarding DJT's odd behavior of closing eyes at certain times, here's my speculation as an armchair psychologist.....DJT is being confronted with reality, directly and 'intimately' for the first time in life, probably. Worse yet, he is thoroughly restrained from lashing out, an important weapon he has used against factual accusations against him. In a nutshell, DJT is in a completely foreign environment and under great stress = frequent eye closing to help reduce stress, IMO. My guess is that he buckles at some point. He simply lacks the psychological tools to cope with a world outside of his delusional sphere.

I don't agree that he will ever buckle because I don't think he fully understands how gracious the judicial system has been, and will continue to be, towards him as a former American president. I think the man has zero empathy and cannot comprehend any realm of truth other than his own realm. I think he will go to his grave believing there was a witch hunt and that he should be adulated, admired, worshipped, adored, and ugh... all that other stuff he craves. I don't think the justice system will ever put him in jail and, to me, he is among the most deserving of some time in prison as any person I know. The best scenario as I see it is that somehow he is backed in a corner and has two options: 1) withdraw from the presidential race or 2) go to jail for a few days. I don't think a judge would put him in jail for years because it's a first offense; notwithstanding that he's a former President. A "few days" in jail is not enough to compel him to withdraw; nor is it practical given the Secret Service protection. It will take more than that. So our last line of defense is to VOTE in November.

David Pecker freely admits that the sole purpose of all this was to help the campaign, and he had a written agreement with Trump to that effect. Which means that misrepresenting it as "legal expenses" was a felony. Your preferred candidate is a proven pathological liar, cheat, crook, and sexual deviant.
