It looks suspicious and with a person like Trump, he'll find any opening, crevice, any potential angle to pounce on and make it seem like it was improper/unethical conduct. That married couple defending Trump aren't trying to convict him, Willis has been trying to build a case since early 2021 against Trump for election interference, fraud, trying to subvert the results of a presidential election. She has to be careful because once she entered the public limelight against a former, nasty POTUS who doesn't fight fair, is fundamentally unethical and has shown every intention to violate accepted political or respected customs, norms as long as its "not too illegal", or if it is, can't be traced back to him too easily or without a long, drawn-out courtroom battle, like Stormy Daniels hush money trial in NYC right now. IMHO, Garland was too respectful and cautious when it came to not being more aggressive and going after Trump a lot earlier then he did, shit storm from MAGA Republicans be damned. The FBI raid on Mar-a-Lago should've occured in summer of 2021, the Stormy Daniels trial going on now should've been last summer, they kept allowing his lawyers to stall until they knew none of those federal trials would happen before the 2024 election. Sure, he likely might get convicted in the NYC trial, but even with a conviction, he'll still try and appeal and even if the Supreme Court decides he doesn't have presidential immunity (gee, they wasted 3-4 months deciding that, huh when last November was the right time), the delaying tactics would have served their purpose anyway. Even if Trump loses in the November election, he'll still cause chaos because THEN HE'LL REALLY BE SCARED and SCREWED.

Well Trump did say that a president should have the right to "take out" their political rivals and face no consequences! So what's the problem Donny boy?

I am fascinated with the attempts to destroy the different Presidents by each party. Trump being a wild cannon, both sides have made attempts to dethrone him. He has only a few traits that make him a good president IMO. Biden has less. Add both of them up and you still would have only a slightly above average President. I have looked into the lengthy list of Trump's problems and accusations against him. The hundreds of slurs picked out of the air the democrats have used against him are fascinating. I have read and now mostly listened to a few hundred news sources discussing him. About four hours at least every day. This is one of my hobbies. Been so for over fifty years. So yes I know much more than most about both men. And I know the politics behind what each party wants done and what they are trying to do to each candidate. I feel that Biden is a complete failure as a President and as a person. And many in DC knew how he was before he was elected including Obama. Trump as a President had the country heading in the right direction but just barely.

Lies that endangers law enforcement people's lives. Even if they sit in an office, traffic stops etc. They're all at risk. They have families.

DOJ spokespeople are being too defensive about this, arguing that it's standard procedure. That's true, but I would advise a different framing. I think they should explain that any time a search warrant is served, the FBI doesn't know how the subject will react, and in this case, with a subject who has been explicit in his advocacy for violence, who knows what instructions he might have given to his security people! Sure, it's SOP and ESPECIALLY important when you're dealing with a high-profile subject who has unlimited resources and no respect for the law! This is how they should frame it. Put TRUMP on the defensive! Let HIM explain why the FBI should not be wary of what his goons might do when they came to investigate a probably crime.

Requiring a criminal defendant to not speak publicly about a criminal case, is in effort to prevent jurors from being polluted by non evidence in the case.
