SKATING ON CRYSTAL CLEAR ICE!!
Спорт
When I got word that Whitefish Lake had froze over I knew I had to get out there. No snow and a quick drop in temperature created the best ice I've ever skated on. Hope you enjoy the video!

Don't worry the ice was plenty thick to be safely skating on! :)

clock9596 The ice is clear, which is the strongest form it can be in, and I assume the required few inches needed for skating were visible.

Love the sunset, clear sky, forest, and mountains around, perfect place to spend time. I think the only thing I like about winter is when it's evening and with clear sky, the rest is lame and...basically not fond of the winter because at my place it's mostly gloomy, wet or thick snow, cloudy...etc. Greetings from Northern/Eastern Europe.
Beautiful and magical

Longest pass in Hockey history. I used to live on a bay in NFLD and it would freeze over during early winter, then we would get a deluge of rain in early Spring followed by freezing temps. We used to always joke that it took a half hour to reach the goal when we got a break away! Crystal clear glass ice for 2 miles across and 15 miles down the bay towards the Atlantic. Great memories!
I live on north east shore of lake ontario (canada) we have smaller lakes that freeze over but that ice you are skating on I have only experienced about fifteen times in 45 years...it's rare but oooohhhh so awesome..,.people who live near northern lakes know what I speak of.
That is so cool!!
