@Samuel Kaplan no not really. I have decent ice on my lake at best and I have been skating 1-2 times a day on there for 2 months and my blades are completely fine.

i never get ice in tennessee but we recently got a huge ice storm and it froze the road next to my house, probably wasn't the best ice for my skates but it was still fun to skate on
