Growing up as a Skater in the 80's, 90's and early 2000's me and my friends learned that being courteous and respectful got us a lot farther with the haters then acting like little ass holes. As a former skateboarder if I ran into most of the skateboarders in these videos I would be pissed off at or want too call the cops on most of them." Skateboarding is not a crime!" Until you act or behave like a criminal.

The issues I had with security guards as a skater was that they are NOT supposed to touch you, that is not their job, they're supposed to ask you to leave and if you don't, they're supposed to call the cops and let them deal with it. That's why they're not given hand cuffs or weapons. I have issue with them grabbing people or tripping them, that is in fact a crime.

But if you're doing something illegal, then the security guard could argue he's doing a citizen's arrest. Even then, a security guard can only use reasonable force.riding a skateboard inside a public building can be illegal in most places so yes they can grab you if it’s within reasonable force

He iant supposed to do that. It's a liability issue. If they get hurt on the property the skaters could sue and cost the company money. Most of the time they fake it. Also it is so that no one else's property and other people stay safe. So that guard was either fired or written up.

I started skating in the mid 70s. We hit empty canals, those were the original half pipes. Skated on the streets and sidewalks, empty parking lots. We showed respect cause all we wanted to do was skate. We were still treated like shit for no reason. In the 80s, skating blew up. Politicians got involved in a good way to show the public skating is not a bad thing. We got taxes to pay for free skate parks so anyone could skate. It's shit like this thats giving skating a bad rep again.

I like you. Some skaters are cool but some are just truly messed up people like any other regular people can be. I like that you said nobody is anymore important than each other I try to say that in my own messed up way. I could be better at skating than some people or not as good as some people at different things like computer stuff and we all know different things but together we know all that we can share and that makes us important to each instead of just pointless fighting but just yesterday I was told I'm childish so just saying I will defend myself because having a skateboard or not doesn't determine if those individuals are good or bad. I would love to provide skateparks all over the world and just keep building them everywhere so skaters have somewhere to go but can't let too many kid's there because they will get hurt like playing on a motorway. Skaters often look at a park full of kid's and walk away because they don't want to hurt them so they skate everywhere else more.

The one cop wasn't a hater he was just super chill and happy to see his buddy.

Well saddly for you your assumption is false, I bought my car with the money I earned. But my pride is not misplaced : I know the purpose of a car is to be a vehicle, and the aesthetic aspect of it is completely independant from it's function. Which is to transport people or things. A scratch on it doesn't affect in any way its use. People placing their pride in the aspect of their vehicle are quite stupid in my opinion. or they lack of something in their self esteem.

And even a scratch can lead to rust ... especially in Citys close to the coast. The salty air is a killer even for not scratched cars .
