SKATEPARK KING? ARRMA Outcast 6s EXB vs Outcast Light 6s

Here's a breakdown of my 2 favorite skatepark rigs. Both are Mad fun and highly capable. For ripping around with max agility, the Ultralight takes the cake. The Tekno MT410 deserves mention as well. Big thanks to M2C Racing, Basherqueen, Voltage Hobbies, and 3DRC for the Epic upgrades!!! Thanks also to Fast Track Hobbies in Rocklin CA.

Thanks so much Nick 😜!!!! Not sure if you're still running the shorter, low profile Talion wingmount, but it breaks far easier than the standard HD mount that comes on the Kraton and Outcast. The longer HD mount allows for more flex and protects the tower better during rolls and impacts. So far the full length 3DRC mount is doing awesome 😱. Truly appreciate the kind words Brother!!!🍻😎💪👊👊

Had such a Killer time despite lots of riders at the park. The Outcast is the king of the skatepark. Dayyymmnnn Rich, Once again declaring you "King of Skatepark Bashing".... Not that your trying to say that, IMHO That was super trick Outcast Skatepark bashing, front to backs, transitions like butter, and now throwing the extra flip into the 360 barrel roll😳😎👍 Outcast and the Maxx made for Skatepark for sure but the Outcast handles SOOOO much better 🤫 M2Cification locks these rigs together, and then 3DRC and BasherQueen touches all where needed 😍😍 Makes me want to up my Skatepark game... I have only been brave enough to run my traxxas rigs there in the RC Graveyard ☠️💀..... . It's like your playing in your backyard brother😎👍 Gonna have to watch this again later it was THAT good my friend.... Killing the game!

Special nod to our dear Brother Thomas for the original Kraton SWB that opened ARRMA's eyes to this epic stunt platform. The Outcast Light feels so balanced with the M2C and Basherqueen bits and Backflip LP's. She's my deep down favorite, but the EXB is wild fun too 😱!!! So grateful for the plethora of solid RTR and upgrade options we have Bro. Truly appreciate the kind words as always and super excited to see what Mitch and Avery have up their sleeves 👀. Big thanks for convincing them to take on the XMaxx. I never thought I'd actually enjoy the platform, but their creative genius and persistence completely changed the trucks capabilities. 🍻🚀🚀😎💪👊👊

With lighter weight oils like the 50k in the front and 20k in the rear (200k center) i would imagine it would handle much better vs say 200k front, 2 mill center, 500k rear? Watching your rigs with the 50k/200k/20k diff oil setup they look very agile and still maintain that flip on demand.

@@ZeuZLoD heavy center diff fluid limits power transfer to the front wheels which can work great to reduce excessive front tire ballooning on hard throttle. Too heavy and you can be left doing constant wheelies instead of getting the power down to the ground. It makes turning and drifting more rear wheel based. Helps to have the fronts pull a little out of turns. The front and rear fluids dictate left to right wheel power transfer during turning and anytime a wheel becomes off loaded. Experimentation is the only way to know. I just gotta play around with the Maxx diffs more. 50/200/20k works great in the Talion, Typhon, and Outcast. Also the Kraton 6s EXB with LSD center..

Hey Rich, you get any cogging issues using the blx 185 system. Just put a new system in a rig I built (similar to the outcast) and I get major cogging when accelerating from a stop. Same wheel base and tires as the Outcast. Using a 16t pinion with a 48t spur if that matters.

  • @richduperbash2966

Hey Terry 🤗. It's not normal to get cogging with the BLX185. Your gearing doesn't sound crazy tall for a 2050kv motor 🤔. I'd suspect a bad or loose connection or bad solder joint. The only other thing that comes to mind is a failing servo. I've had faulty servos cause all sorts of weird electrical issues. You can try changing your punch setting to see if the cogging changes, but I run 16-18T with 50T spur on max punch 9 with zero problems in my BLX systems. That is the reason why I bought an XMaxx and Maxx. The end goal is to improve performance and durability regardless of brand. ARRMA is still my favorite basher line no question, but they don't sponsor my passion for the hobby. I'm always grateful if they send me a model, but I don't ask for anything and am honest with my opinions regardless. They listen closely to basher feedback and strive to keep innovating and improving 😍

Some might say the same about scooters and bikes. It's a public park funded by our tax dollars. As a long-time BMXer and vert skater, I respect not imposing on people's space. Just like you wouldn't snake someone's run in the bowls or on a vert ramp.
