@@tktk-om8cg thanks Brother and congrats on your new 8s 😱. You can change ESC settings with a Spectrum program card or do it manually. Look at the ESC table in your manual. You want to hold the set button when you power up the ESC and keep holding it until you get to the punch setting option. Release the set button. It should beep 3 times because stock punch is set at 3. Press the set button twice to advance to punch 5. 🍻😎💪👊👊

Man those were some sweet sends dude! The epicness in the air lol. One of these days you need to make a trip to socal Long Beach for the monthly beach bashes they have. They have a big ramp and 2 medium sizes ramps plus some drag races, its a blast to let them fly.

Ian's idea has worked brilliantly setting it up at different spots. This one was perfect to catch the downramp or simply go full send into mostly softer dirt 👌. Yeah that was Dave running his XMaxx 👍. It's super easy to pitch sideways trying to line up for the plastic ramps. We all had some hairball shavers 😂. Definitely kept everyone on their toes. I did the same on the lock nut, too hold the body mounts. Never have a problem again.

Yeah it's a great little RC hack 👌. Just like heat shrinking the motor wire connections. Eliminate the silly issues and spend your bash time bashing. 🍻😎💪👊👊

Man I love love the orange darling. It is just the perfect rig and it showed up great in the dark.that ramp is definitely killer and looked like so much fun. I'm about to do a huge over haul n rebuild on my o8s and all I wanna do is take it out haha.many m2c goodies going on her. Those were some amazing sends. Nothing like sends with friends haha. So glad to have all these belted options coming out . Silly question but are you still venting your belted tires? The M2C beef will take her to another level 💪. I generally do vent my belted wheels. Only exception is the Proline Masher X HP's. Nice video brother👊 Lovinn the exb’s! How would you say the outcast 6s exb and the kraton 6s exb compare does one seem to be more durable and how is the handling compare I got the Kraton because i was fearing it would be hard to control. In air or on ground becuase of the short wheelbase. I also knew that the outcast would probably be more durable becuase the chassis is shorter and the driveshafts. But what would say is your favorite and how hard is it to control? Thanks Rich loving the videos 😍

Thanks so much Brother 🤗. I love both rigs. The Outcast is better at the skateparks with the tighter turning wheelbase and easy stunts, but for overall bashing I prefer the Kraton 👍. It's so much better for getting the power down quickly and going full throttle 😍. The durability is really about equal overall. The Kraton can climb better and jump further no question. It's really my favorite among the two. 🍻😎💪👊👊

Rich I just wanted to thank you again for your advice on my kraton exb. The max6 and the hobbystar 1730kv motor are awesome. Finally got it all dialed in. Rich old post I know. I just picked up a outcast 6s exb. Question should I build the diffs just like my kraton 6s exb? I've literally got about 5 minutes of run in on this and it is a snappy lil rig.

Is it normal to have toe out on outcast 6s out of the box? It seems like the toe out is too much. Do you have the same problem?

Is the new outcast worth the money or should I buy a nice used one? I am getting the new fire team on the 4th when it comes into my local hobby shop

Hey Dave 🤗. I went with the Hobbywing Max8. It's always been reliable with nice, smooth power delivery. Make sure your Lipos are good 👀. A bad or dying cell could be dropping voltage during full throttle. The ESC won't recognize 5s so it will cut out. If your cells are all healthy, probably is a glitchy ESC. Thanks Jeremy 🤗. Both are great trucks, but I really prefer my Outcast over the MT410 overall. The Tekno is fast and smooth, but it was never designed as a basher from the ground up. That becomes apparent when you start doing more extreme bashing. 😎💪👊👊

Do you run the stock hubs? I just switched to the hot racing hubs and have been breaking m2c hidge pins. Starting to think the aluminum hubs were a bad idea

I always stick with the stock plastic hubs. They're light and I don't bust them very often. 🍻

What ever you have in you outcast 6s that’s what Arrma needs to put in their cars! My 6s has been broken more than running! Esc servo all been replaced! I believe when y’all review these cars they should be left stock and really show the people what they are getting! Good or bad! I loved the car when it runs!

Hey Isaac 🤗. I was very clear in my earlier videos about both my stock servo breaking and my ESC failing towards the end of my second run 😝. Very disappointing. I ran the truck 100% stock and have replaced stuff only as it's failed. Definitely not my first rodeo with these rigs. Some failures are premature, some breakages are caused by either driver error or unrealistic expectations given the amount of energy involved with the weight, speed, and power these rigs have running 6s. If you want a stout rig that can endure insane punishment, you'll have to go with proper aftermarket upgrades. It's that simple. Even then, nothing is indestructible. There's no secrets here. The EXB chassis is no where near as stout as M2C Racing. That said, I'm gonna finish this one off before I swap it. Upgrades depend largely on how you bash and what your needs are. 🍻😎💪👊👊

@@ikey4ya I'll definitely check it out my friend. I agree on the cost too 👍. These EXB RTR's are priced too high. I thought Horizon would charge 600$ something 👀. When I saw 729$ I was like 😱. Having electronics crap out early at that price defeats the purpose of an EXB RTR in my opinion. I'm a value basher and shopper myself. 🍻

Seems to be the case with ALL RTR RC. Expect to replace the electronics sooner then later. After that it will be gear mesh and diffs. Then the plastic suspension arms and towers will eventually wear and break etc.... -very expensive hobby for the basher types😱🤦‍♂️💙🤣🍻

Hey Glenn 🤗. The Typhon 6s was my first ARRMA 😍. I think it's my all time favorite because it's so dang fast and truly challenges my reflexes. Keeps me 100% focused. It's such a versatile little Ripper for either road or dirt use and takes an absolute pummeling being so compact 👀. Super easy to Truggify with Kraton hubs, hexs, and stub axels for a wider stance and taller 2.8 wheels. For true speed bashing with twitch buggy agility, there's nothing else like it. 🍻😎💪👊👊

You pretty much have experience in all the areas im looking to upgrade depending on which I get so, would you suggest getting the Notorious BLX and upgrade to Bashqueens CF parts, or is the Outcast EXB RTR route a better option? I would imagine getting the Outcast EXB RTR and upgrading that with the BQ parts, but way more expensive.

I would lean towards the Notorious with a combination of Basherqueen and M2C parts 😍. This is really for a few reasons, but the best basher's are always still built/upgraded to suit individual needs. Go with what makes the most sense for you, but that's the approach I'd take. The EXB is a nice option, but the price is also a bit steep when you could have better upgrades on the standard RTR🍻😎💪👊👊

Thanks Brother 🤗. Absolutely LOVE my Orange Darling 😍. Unfortunately I don't have any extra 200A ESC's. Just had to repair 2 of my 3 Max5's. One got the reciever wire pinched and the other had a cup unsolder. Both are functional again fortunately, but I don't have an extra. I'd check the Facebook sell/trade pages. 🍻😎💪👊👊

Hey Shaun 🤗. Sorry I haven't used my Instagram account much. My son was planning to show me how and it hasn't happened yet 😂. I use FB more. I haven't tried ear plugs or grease in the 6s diffs. I normally run 50/200/20k standard Silicone front to rear in most of my 6s diffs. Definitely still use the Mugen Seiki E0206 shims and Tekno #1222 bearing shims. Only difference is with the V4-V5 diffs, I don't add extra satellite/spider gear shims. I've found with the V4-5 ARRMA outdrive shims the added smaller shims isn't necessary. I just swap out the planetary shims for wider Mugen Seiki ones. 🍻😎💪👊👊

I'd personally go for the Talion because I love speed bashing and it's a straight bullet with the right gearing 😱. The O6s is better at the skateparks and for easy stunting, but I prefer the tight handling ripper Talion overall. It jumps and drifts better too. 🍻😎💪👊👊

Probably the Hobbywing 4985 1650kv with a 20T pinion. I personally think it's too big and heavy and my friend simply couldn't control his with all the torque. I still prefer the stock size 2050kv motors geared up to 16-18 (depending on wheel size) for easy flips. You could try a Hobbystar 4082 1600kv with 20T pinion. Should give you plenty of torque and top end. 🍻

That looks like a perfect spot for bashing where is that at i am in the south bay

I'm happy with the M2C Racing and Basherqueen ESC adapter plates. Otherwise you can Dremel the plastic lip off the stock plastic mount and make it work with 30-60lb Gorilla mounting tape and a zip tie for insurance. 🍻😎💪👊👊

I just ordered the basherqueen mount. Found it on Ebay. I trimmed off the lip, it's just not as stable as I would like. Especially with the power this thing is putting out! You weren't kidding about it. Thanks again for the recommendation Rich, you were spot on brother!

I've had tattoos come off easier than that gorilla tape! Lol! I love the gorilla mounting tape. It's stronger than some of the welds I see guys at work lay down! Lol🏋️‍♀️🏋️‍♂️

@@reid9041 I wouldn't say that, it's just the 800kv 56114 is a huge motor 👀. Really want a 200+ amp ESC like the Max5 or Castle 8s equivalent to get full use of the motor.

every time i try to launch like that the motor flexes downwards on impact and tears up the gearing...not sure how these guys do it

Bro as far as the EXB RTR is concerned if I like doing big air am I better off to get the KRATON or the outcast?

The Kraton is the better jumper overall 👍. Way easier to get the power down and reach max speed for full sends. The Outcast is killer at the skateparks and for easy multi flips, but the Kraton is better for going big no question. 🍻😎💪👊👊

The 6s has a durability and speed advantage being smaller and lighter. I think both are straightforward to wrench on. The 6s is physically easier overall to work on just because the smaller fasteners. I love both sizes 🍻😎💪👊👊

@@scottg429 it's often not necessary, but best to check fluid levels sooner than later. You just don't know who put the rig together and it's not uncommon to find low levels. I typically add 1-2 Tekno #1222 bearing shims on the crown gear side bearing to tighten the mesh with the input gears. As far as EXB limited slip diffs, I honestly prefer swapping in the ARRMA open diff shim kit. It replaces the slip plates with 2 washer style shims per diff. I'll try and link it here if I can pull the part #. Some guys love the LSD action. No not really 😂. Had to hammer it straight after the rear chassis brace screw snapped but it looks a bit twisted. I'll have to run an M2C Racing one eventually 💪. There's no comparing EXB 7075 to American made 4mm 7075 T6 🍻😎💪👊👊
