I must say that in the 80's era after the premiere of Back to the Future. Lots of guys must have started skating. You have to make a video about the movies that popularized skateboarding or that at least incorporated it. Love the channel ! God job !

Rodney Mullen became enlightened by skateboarding, he is a skateboarding sage.
This is a sick series... we need more! Daewon song, the gonz, andy anderson, jason dill, rocco, gator, deer man of dark woods, even jay adams... there are SO many people to talk about!
Tom Penny. Him keeping a low profile makes him a very interesting dude in skateboarding. Not to mention his super smooth and clean style of skating.

Simon Woodstock?! Often forgotten skateboarder who had one of the best VANS pro models and was an incredible creative force in the 90s and set a solid tone art and skateboarding

Surprised there was no mention of Bam or even Sheckler lol. You can definitely make this a series, there's been so many characters in the skate scene.
Suggestions for part 2- Louie barletta, deawon song, Mike V, Erick koston, Antwon Dixon, Mike Sinclair, Chris Robert’s, lance mountain, Jason dill
I feel like Andy Roy definitely deserves to be on a future series.

@@ShredzShop yeah! The idea came after watching this video, would be super interesting to listen about the iconic videos of each videographers in their respective carreers and how they influenced skateboarding in general, the example that came to my mind is with strobeck, as a also videographer, the way that he films served as "manual guide" in my early videos before properly understand the differents types of filming in general, and last but not least is this theme i never seen anyone talking about, to know who are the guys that maked the iconic videos and their carreers before and later the video came out to the scene, well hope to see you talking about! bye!

muska was being pursued to ride for Flip? that would be sick. makes sense cause he was bros with Penny. but i don't think they had any USA riders at the time. would have been cool tho.... still, glad he stuck with shortys. he deserved to be the mastermind of a brand, not just another rider.

love the content! Personally I would speak slower as it's a lot of information shared with a very fast pace making the narration a bit flat. Taking more time would also gave you the opportunity to focus on less skaters and gave them the right space. Last thing, I would add the name of the skaters on the screen so no need to check the captions in the YT bar (which is also not always accurate, for instance Heath Kirchart is not shown)
What happened to the shortys team members? Love this channel
