Grew up skating in the 80s. chucks and vans then jordans then vans then vans made the half cab. Probably the best ever. But one from the aughts I really liked was the Emerica Marc Johnson. Had a ton of those. Then back to Vans and some Adidas mixed in since Dennis is a hometown hero. Bit younger than me but remember him coming up. And Gonz has always been my favorite ever. So the Adidas kinda stuck. Rockin Pumas now. Hadnt had a pair since probably 87. And they rule! Vans will always be the best tho. Nobody has came close to beating that soft rubber waffle soul in all these decades.

i skate in cali (roads aren't that good) so far just been using formula 4 conical fulls 99 du and 53 mm, should i go with a 93?

I'm skatingbfor the 1st tike in 20 years teaching my daughter to skate I have always used thunder or independent. Always persevered hard bushings. God help me with my new deck

9:42 Hook-ups shoes look so lame and out of that vibe of those years, that I'm really not surprised I nevver seen'em, and didn't even know they used to make shoes. The coolest to me, were some Osiris models, as well as some Kastel ones, when they became bulky again, after the short low era

Rosa was my teacher back in 6th grade. Early 2000's. She worked at Hoover Middle school in San Jose, California. One day, my buddy says "do you recognize her?" and I said "no". He said "thats ROSA!" and I flipped my lid. lol. It was our first week of 6th grade. We approached Rosa and asked her if she was the model from shorty's and she said yes! and told us to "not tell anyone" in a very sexy manner. She knew how to talk!
