MickeyAlexander it's really important that they made the clarification Taiwan is NOT part of the PRC. The country issue - on the other hand - is super complex. Still, 我愛台灣!! 支持台灣獨立!! Love Taiwan, support its independence.

3:57 OMFG that's in Tianmu!!!! That's the part of town where I'm from!!!!!!!!! My old house is literally on the other side of the creek!!!!! That part of town has many expats (many Japanese and Americans, but some Europeans there as well). Hope you guys were able to find a slice of home there. Oh how I've missed that place. This coming August will mark my 12th year in the States, but deep down I'm still a Taipei boy. BTW somehow when they built those wavy things I knew someone's gonna skate the snot outta that thing.

Asian drivers here in America seem to be awful drivers bc of the way we are used to driving. In many countries they kind of drive however they want, pulling in front of people and everyone is so used to it, it works. Here they pull out and get tboned bc we're hauling ass and not expecting anything.

And you'd be right: it's absolutely terrifying being on the road here, but you get used to it. As for mountains, if lorry drivers hit you, because of the way compensation works, they will reverse over you to make sure you're dead, rather than just badly injured, so they only have to pay a one off payment to the family for causing the death, rather than a continuing payment if you live but have a long-term injury.
