I have this watch (with gray background) for already 11 years (!!). Still works perfect. After my heavy duty hiking watch I even don't feel the Skagen on my hand. It's a watch for life. It's basic - it fits, no matter what I am wearing. Love it.

I have the same watch with a brown dial which matches the strap. It was given as a gift years ago and I have used it hard during field work. I managed to damage the mesh in the strap but as a result of abuse during oceanographic work on ships. The watch however hardly has a mark on it. It is so comfortable to wear that my Rolex Datejust, Seiko Dive watch rarely get worn.

I’ve had this watch for 10+ years. Still works but I cracked the crystal. Just sent it away for repair and it’s as good as new. Lume works but is wearing out.

I love Skagen watches and just purchased my third which is a solar model. The other two have operated perfect for the last 8 years and you can't ask for anymore as the price point is very good. Skagen makes good looking watches and different sizes as I like the 37mm as my wrist is smaller.

@@FzlMrllh measurement is approximately 6 1/2 inches in diameter, most watch designs today are very thick and very wide. Skagen makes the perfect size and its thin also.

That's a good looking watch. I have two Skagen watches, and they are of very good quality.

I have this watch in grey. I just picked it up yesterday at a flea market for $15. It's in perfect condition...not a bad find.

I have this model and really like it, but do you have any recommendations for who to take it to when I next need the battery changed? I had trouble with H Samuel because the first time, they tried to charge me £80 because they said the front and rear seals needed changing. I got them to do it without changing the seals for about £25. The battery only lasted eighteen months. The next battery change, by a different branch of H Samuel, only cost £9. Still has the old seals.

Absolutely, they are very good value wear well and a light and durable. Very good for everyday use!
