I love 1/18 scale but price , availability and veriety of 1/24 is unmatched . I have stoped collecting models in both scales due to not having a place to display my models. Now 1/64 is a different story I have a nice collection of basic castings in hotwheels majorette, matchbox I haven't yet got more collector grade makes but hopefully I will in the future.
Beautiful, Gorgeous JDM set there. In my personal experience, 1/43 has been the best choice for super-detailed models. 1/24 is reserved for my absolute Favorite cars ever made and 1/18 is set for my absolute, Must-have legends ever built. I refuse to mention the car so that the price/demand doesn't go up. I can't afford a car collection. But a model car collection gives you the exact feeling!

This is an awesome comparison. I will remain a 1/43 scale fan, as I find it the best balance between size and details amount, but this comparison is very helpful for every begginer collector 😁👍
My personal favourite is 1/43 scale. Details and space is idea and can be held in palm of hand. 1/64 is next becos of space saving.

Literally getting into scaling up my model car collecting to something larger as of today. Thinking of reserving a 1/18 scale for any really exciting car that I have been able to drive on streets or track. Trophy case of sorts. Simply on here to soak up the content. I want to go full on hobby grade with some while continuing to buy about 20 hotwheels a year of whichever real cars they produce. I used to have a large collection of 1:43 scale cars but I sold basically all of them a few years ago and switched to 1:18.. I also use to have hundreds of boxed hotwheels but again sold basically all of them and I now have a small collection but much better quality collection of Inno64 cars.. So in short 1:18 and 1:64

I think in terms of pricing those 1/43s you're very much talking about high end models there as a decent 1/43 such as Ixo/Minichamps won't generally be anything like that amount. You've got an Ignition Model (I believe) in the video and that's about as expensive as you can get in 1/43.
1:12 is my favorite however, they are so expensive and they take up a lot of space. Therefore, I buy usually 1:18.
What brand is the 300zx?

Жыл бұрын
Absolutely. Except you do not get the higher end details due to size compared to others.
I like 1/18 scale because it's more detail in the car it's the brand auto world because they make Horror and Hollywood cars
124 scale and 25th scale is a perfect balance in size and ease of ability to scratch build and even do modeling because it's not too too small where you can detail it it's not too big where it takes up too much room and takes up too much time to build as well and not as much room the store and display so 124th and 125th is literally the perfect size for people who like to build models or even collect just die cast of especially with cars but I don't understand when people say they do custom diecast cars because are they actually building and making diecast pieces and melting their own metal and making their own molds or they just adding styrene on to the cars to make it custom because I've never seen custom diecast kits where you make your own diecast parts like a plastic model car kit. I do a lot of custom 124th and 125th scale but it's all done in styrene and actually sell it online on eBay and even have customers that request special models like of their own personal hot rods or cars or even their personal circle track cars they want exact replicas over they pay me for or even movie buffs and people that like to collect movie stuff I'll build them exact replicas of their movie cars that they want to go with their movie collections of their movie items I even do movie props and models of movie props and cars and spaceships and stuff like that for people's theaters as well I did a Star wars themed theater building one 16th scale models of pod racers and stuff like that to hang off the ceiling and it was Giant got paid me $50,000 to do it and it took 15,321 dollars in materials and resources and custom molds to do it and 120 hours per pod racer of labor went into them. That's how I make my living those making exact replicas of models for people's collectins and movie rooms and theaters and stuff like that but the fun part is when you get to go out to people's houses and take picture of their cars or their hot rod and so are their race cars and thousands of pictures and measuring and everything cuz that's really fun and you get to see some really really cool stuff that people have built hot rod wise or even just regular car wise I had one guy that wanted a replica of his private island vacation house he had just finished having built and owns on a his own private island so I took thousands and thousands and thousands of pictures and measuring stuff that was important inside his vacation house so that way when I did the exact scale replica of his vacation house that it was exactly how it is in real life so that way he can have it on display in his personal home so that way he can always look and feel like he's at his vacation home even though he's at his regular house doing work in his office which is kind of cool when you own a paradise and a getaway like that you kind of want to feel like you're there all the time so it is what it is and it makes me a living doing stuff like that you don't have to work for anybody on my own balls and I enjoy life and get to see some really cool stuff and get flown really cool places to take pictures and measure stuff for people's models they want built or even just doing models of what they want before a builder goes and build their house or has a car built or a car restored that way they know what they're getting before they spend the money to have the real thing done
