Hahaha, no I never even thought of it...😅 I only wear Breton striped Shirts and Jeans it narrows it a bit, but ofcourse I want something new every now and than. And I bought a pair of high top Roots from Canada, remember those? I can't wait to see how this turns out. I wonder how Jane Fonda is doing, She didn't want to buy never new clothes anymore? 😮

LOL. I do remember you telling me about them. I also wonder how Jane is doing with this. Seems easier than it is!

I feel your dilemma! So far I´ve never done a shopping freeze. I´ve come quite near the decision though. At the moment I started to search for summer pieces, which I certainly had misplaced and went through a big part of my wandering vintage wardrobe the sheer bulk of it and the realization that I do own pieces I had completely forgotten about overwhelmed me. I wondered : "do I have to stop buying?" A fairly harsh purge (mostly of non-vintage items, that were so used up, they were absolutely not usable anymore and were clogging up my very limited actual wardrobe space) made me feel better, but still I remained conscious of the problem. Then the next fleamarket came... and like you said: when buying vintage you have to be quick. There were some gorgeous and extremely cheap pieces, which I simply had to buy. Oops! I really enjoyed buying some vintage for my husband and boy too. (You are right, it´s the hunt, the "truffle pigging" in my case, that gives the adrenaline rush, so shopping for somebody else is very helpful!) At the moment I´m making myslef lean back, wait and not pounce at a couple of georgeous vintage bargains on ebay. One has already gone through two listing periods and not sold. I seem to have time to make a conscious decision here. Have a lovely week-end!
