What are the coldest temps you would be comfortable wearing a 2019 Hudson over a Gradient jacket?

ive been bouncing back and forth on getting the hudson or the layout jacket. I have the duck oven so with that being said the hudson seems more logical to layer up when needed. Just for size reference do you wear a large or XL? I am 5'10" 175 and i was looking to get something a little baggy so leaning to a XL since L is what i would normally wear. Just looking to know what size you wear?

I hunt swamps in North Carolina. I go through deep water a lot and often need to use every inch of my waders. How does this jacket fit inside of waders?

It’s good inside of wader, you will have all the insulation on your vitals. The only draw back is you can’t use the shell pocket. Thanks

Ihunt in nc swamps as well, I love the hudson but if it is within budget i would recommend getting a duck oven and the delta wading jacket. Equally as warm and the delta can be left outside your waders no problem. if im in knee deep water then i wear the hudson, if not then im going to wear my delta

Would you wear this if you were bow hunting?

what is the rate of this jacket

I open water hunt on the Great Lakes from a boat, no waders. I think I need a waterproof jacket like the delta wading jacket but longer as I do not have waders on Hunting oct -dec. 60f -20f. Rain, boat spray, wind I already own layers so I don’t necessarily need insulation. Thoughts on n what I can buy? Delta seems too short ... layout jacket? Also, I upland hunt and there is crap for upland gear. Shits, pants.. orvis is the only thing and their waterproof pants are not waterproof. I need pants that will keep me dry going through wet aspen cuts or balsam swamps and still stand up to briars etc. thoughts on what pant that is?

if you go on amazon they have tall sizes for most sitka gear

Will a Dakota Jacket layer under a Hudson fine?

The 2019 and newer Hudson will be tight but 2018 and older Hudson should be fine.
