I couldn't believe Netflix replaced this amazing song!!! I cried watching it for the first time so many years ago! Thank God for youtube uploading this!!

Heartbreaking that the new generation watching for the 1st time on Netflix will miss out on such a beautiful song and tender moment of this surprise reunion 😢

A beautiful ending to an amazing series. This song brings tears to my eyes. Nice of them to bring back Roger as a surprise for Lisa. I remember seeing this when it was originally on Nickelodeon in 1999.

When they use other artist's music, they have to purchase the right to use it. The rights have probably run out so they had to remove the song.

Thank God they brought Roger back to close the show. Even though he didn’t get much screen time in this episode, having him say the last spoken line and sing the last long brings the show full circle since he also said the last spoken line in the pilot/first episode

This makes the ending so much better instead of what Netflix did. I was looking forward to this Performance just to be disappointed twice 😅 yup in referring to the "slow jam" scene with Jordan and Tamera

I hate that Netflix edited out so much from the series. They did the same with Tamera and Jordan's dance, surely they could have asked for the copyrights. There are scenes missing as well that new viewers won't even know about.

Aight. Just finished watching it just now.. and I knew I wasn't going crazy. Had me thinking I was suffering from the "Mandela Effect".

True story: I saw this episode about a month ago and thought, wow, M. Houston really does a good job with the cover. Then, last night, I had a dream that I was there at the wedding (in the TV show) and woke up with the song on my head - just had to check it out again. Thanks for posting it!!!

The first time I heard this song in any form was on this show. I was a teen. I didn't like this song at the time. I thought that this was some kind of R&B song that they made for this show. I absolutely love this song now and this is my favorite rendering of it, much more than the Beatles themselves. It pumps me full of nostalgia for Sister Sister, for my youth, for the good old days, when I was young and innocent and had parents that loved me.

So glad that this is up! The Netflix Sister Sister Finale replaced this song 😭

it isn't netflix's fault. netflix didn't do it. CBS provided it to netflix that way This is a show from the 90s. Netflix streaming didn't exist yet. DVD was barely a thing either and when it was, it was the late 90s and mainly for movies only. We didn't see box sets of tv shows until like 2002 They can't exactly license a song for a thing that didn't even exist yet. Plus every song is different Multiple people can co-own rights to a song. and all it takes is one co-owner to say no, and it's automatically out of the question. When Tv One's Unsung did a 702 episode, they had to play "Steelo"s video on mute because one of the song's co-owners refuses to license it to tv one.
