Lyrics to "Sister Golden Hair":
Well I tried to make it sunday, but I got so damn depressed
That I set my sights on monday and I got myself undressed
I ain't ready for the altar but I do agree there's times
When a woman sure can be a friend of mine
Well, I keep on thinkin' 'bout you, sister golden hair surprise
And I just can't live without you, can't you see it in my eyes?
I been one poor correspondent, and I been too, too hard to find
But it doesn't mean you ain't been on my mind
Will you meet me in the middle, will you meet me in the air?
Will you love me just a little, just enough to show you care?
Well I tried to fake it, I don't mind sayin', I just can't make it
Well, I keep on thinkin' 'bout you, sister golden hair surprise
And I just can't live without you, can't you see it in my eyes?
Now I been one poor correspondent, and I been too, too hard to find
But it doesn't mean you ain't been on my mind
Will you meet me in the middle, will you meet me in the air?
Will you love me just a little, just enough to show you care?
Well I tried to fake it, I don't mind sayin', I just can't make it
Doo wop doo wop

When a bunch of kids slay a cover written decades before they were born... that I remember vividly from middle school, I say, "THIS IS WHAT KZread IS FOR!"

Keep in mind people have been slaying covers of Bach and Motzart fir centuries. Their age, and the age of the song both mean little. Talent means a lot.
It does my heart good to hear and see younger musicians play these old 70s tunes like this and play them well.

America would be so proud of your version of their classic song from the 70s. A superb version, played and sung with such feeling and genuine soul.

Ditto. Of course I found Reina through Josh's channel along with Reina, Toni ... The fun never ends
From an old time rocker: the addition of mandolin, dobro and banjo to this classic is cool. RDC voice is perfect for this song. The bass man holds the line and per usual Toni on lead guitar doin' her thing. Well done people. This is fun I watch it over and over.
This is by far my favorite America song. Yeah, it's light and sometimes careless, but the emotions spoke to the kaleidoscope of my life as a young man. The opening line is legendary. Kudos!
Music from the 60s and 70s gets better with time. The talent of the writing, musicianship and singing haven’t been repeated. The country was different then and it came through in the music
Im a 60 year old retired, basically, rocker and it makes my heart happy to see the MUSIC RETURN, as you seem to be providing, keep on rockin, Bob, So. Ga.
This is how all musical performance videos should be presented: Each performer on his and her own instrument, one camera, no smoke machines, digital effects, cutaways to the South of France, no chorus lines or dance troupes. The magic here is the immediacy and honesty of this performance. Great art - and the real thing, too.
It took me right back to college days. Those were the greatest days.
One of my favorites and these young people did it justice.
This gives me so much energie in these crazy days. I'm 62 and I can use it. Grtz from Belgium
Mandolin, Steel Guitar, and that Bass it just don’t get any better than this! Love it
Wow, suddenly I'm back in the seventies. This goes straight to the heart and it brings back many warm, but also wistful feelings. Thanks Reina and Toni, and friends too!

This is my favourite song by America. I can still recall the first time I heard, I couldn't believe a song could be so perfect. And you guys nail it. And it's a mini ballad about the sadness of a guy who tries but just can't make with his loved one.

I have been loving this song for the last 42 years. Thanks for performing this old -loving song.
It is always great to just hear and see music being played so well. No big show, no lights and fireworks, just pure talent.
I watch this often. The instruments and the vocals all blend together so wonderfully.
America is such a great band, and you did this song justice.
Wow! So this is what happens when a bunch of super talented people get together to jam. Great job, guys! I wish I had even a fraction of your skills!

Great performance.. I am proud to see the young generation adopting the 70's music. Thank you.

This took me way back to a family road trip vacation in 1975 when I was ten. Man the music was so great back then. Thanks!
That resophonic and banjer, when they kick in together in the second verse, makes tears fall from my old eyes. This is probably the prettiest song I have ever heard and this young ensemble do it proud. Simply beautiful.
Keep the seventies alive guy's this is therapy for us that can't move on from that era, because it was the best time for all genres of music, keep the faith, keep the old guys happy, thank you, enjoyed every minute.🎼🎸🏴

I grew up listening to this song and still listens to it every now and then. You guys performed it very well. Thanks 😀😀😀
One of my favs from the 70s. Love how you dig back!
Great job I too am glad your generation appreciates this music and is keeping it alive in such a wonderful fashion the music influences basically every 3rd generation ,my first born a 90s child was so freaked out when she read a article about one of the popular bands of her high school years that I liked and when they were asked who their main influences in music had been they gave the names of mine and their parents era from the 60s and 70s ! Of course my daughter knew those artists from me she was also shocked that a couple of big hits were remakes of old songs
It's nice to see the older classic songs being honored like this. I loved when this song came on the radio. Made me smile plus reminded me of the girl I was going out with at the time.
SSSSOOOOO much better than the so called BIG STARS of today!!!!
Never heard such a beautiful unplugged bluegrass version.... I loved it..... I've been keeping singing for all Sunday.... Thank you guys, you inspired me once again... Ciao from Italy
One of my favorite songs from years gone by. Great bluegrass rendition, very nice.
Thank you for restoring happiness in my heart, I needed this more than you ( guys and gals) would ever know.

This is exactly the thing I needed. Sometimes to help you through a really rough time all you need is a song

An oldie, but more than a goodie!! What a fantastic version of one of my all-time favorite songs by America 🧑🏻👩🏼🎼🎤🎸🪕🎸

Beautiful people who make beautiful music make the world a better place! Thank you for uploading and the best wishes for all of you!
Oh my God… Hats off to you, Reina del Cid! Excellent job. It's really hard to overestimate your delightful cover of this marvelous song! I’m a 60 years old building engineer dwelling in a lot of thousand miles away from the place you live in and do what you do, but this song in your perfect perfomance made me remember one's youth... and someone's silly dreams of the Godblessed Land beyond the Ocean... called Northern America. That America which seemed then to be really great, honest, just, good to its people, powerful and everything like that... Now we may thank God for that everybody can see/hear you sing this song staying in a bit too far 2nd of September 2018 not knowing what the future does hold for us in a couple of years...
I couldn't agree more. Embracing such classics, instead of the crap stuff that's around these days
A most beautiful interpretation of one of my favorite songs. Thank you all.

Thanks for keeping all the wonderful songs of my youth alive ! Much Respect, John
They are spot on once again. One of my all time favorite songs. Love it! 🤗🎵🎶
So refreshing to hear music that doesn’t override the singer; but beautifully blends

Nice to see youngsters playing some oldies song. Nice bringing some old memories
I was stationed in England at a base in East Anglia when America broke out..I was in a band, of course, and every musician on the base loved what America was doing..Now, 53 years later, I still do..and I like what you girls are doing too !!!!
I keep coming back to this wonderful, fresh rendition. I just love the blend of sounds, the obvious love and enthusiasm for the music and the musicianship. And the there's Reina and Toni...
Yes, so good to hear music like this from a younger generation. Best wishes.
My America favorite! One of those songs that never get old. And your cover captures the original feeling perfectly. Sunny melancholy
I love you guys. your all very good at singing and playing an instrument .But I am also proud of you all for playing these older songs, and bringing them back to life for people in your generation to hear . If you ever get a chance look up the song, When you smile. The whole world Smiles with you,
