Sister Act 2’s Lauryn Hill Gives TOUR of 1993 Dorm Room (Flashback)

Ойын-сауық

Lauryn Hill gave ET a tour of her dorm room in 1993 while chatting about her breakout role in 'Sister Act 2.' As the then-18-year-old attended Columbia University, Lauryn opened up in this rare interview about balancing schoolwork with her acting and music ambitions. She praised co-star Whoopi Goldberg, whom she said gave her career advice on the set. Inside her dorm, Lauryn did a closet breakdown and explained what the go-to foods were at the time for an early '90s college student. The singer also reflected on her biggest music inspirations and influences, with her hip-hop group, Fugees, just a couple months away at the time from releasing their debut album, 'Blunted on Reality.'

Lauryn was beyond her time. When you consider her lyricism she did not use profanity and denigrative jargon like many other rappers do male or female. It takes a level of genius to speak for substance any one can make music with no meaning and low vibration using cursing, etc but to churn out music with a strong purpose that makes you think critically she is beyond a rapper, that is prophetic that is poetry.

Is being underrated because you have your own individuality, morals, being humble, not forgetting where you came from and not willing to sell out for what you believe in exchange for more power and wealth then let it be! Having salvation and peace is wealth! So many celebrities sell out sacrifice their beliefs, pushing something that they know is morally wrong to their fans, their own style that gives them a sense of identity and ways to present themselves and yes they get worldly Rewards the most unhappiest people! It just shows that even with all the fame wealth and power in the world, money can't buy you a piece of mind and happiness! Only God and our Lord Jesus Christ can bring us that! Lauryn Hill is one of a kind!
