Someone donated an old siren to a volunteer fire company in West Seneca tonight but the story behind it goes back 90 years.

The one on the fender is definitely aftermarket. Lights and sirens were not standard equipment.

That truck already has a siren. Because, if you look at 1:13, you could see the siren on the front fender of the truck.

That’s a modern federal q. Back in the early days, Q sirens were hand operated.

Alright, I'm rewriting this. That appears to be the siren not original to the truck. It looks to be a siren made by Archer, which was made long after that truck was sold. As a matter of fact I own one of those Archer sirens.
