One of the best.

This has got to be one of Sir Les's most complete performances. Absolute comic genius. Sir Les was a truly impressive and horrifically dangerous and hilarious character . He was on fire in this appearance .

Absolute genius. One of THE great comic creations.

Rest In Peace to a national treasure. We will miss you mate.

Dame Edna's great but Sir Les is so outrageous it takes it to another level of brilliance 😂😂

Dame Edna was huge in the U.K. but as a Brit it was Les that just hurt my chest. A wonderful man and I’m so sad he is gone. Rest well Sir Barry x

I didnt feel ,too good today. Started watching sir les by chance,and im nearly falling out of my chair with laughter. Feel much better now.

What an actor, satirist, artist! For me, Barry Humphries stands among the greats of comedy from the last century and slightly taller than most, no matter from what country they hailed. His comedic genius and intelligent humour were and still are untouchable! The wonderful characters he gave us Dame Edna, Sandy Stone and the irrepressible Aussie, 'you'll be right, get it into ya' - Sir Les Patterson. I think Sir Les is the jewel in the crown, sorry Edna fans, but Sir Les, oh come on, the tears of laughter we all experienced when we watched him talking about Joan Collins on the Mike Willesee show - All these years later I still chuckle about it. And how about the live recording , Sir Les Live & Rampant? The myriad of interviews he did as Sir Les - all gems and all hilarious! Barry Humphries stand up and take a bow, Sir!

As an American, the Covid 19 crap made me bored...so as a fan and Dame Edna, I accidentally. discovered Sir Les way later than I should have. In the US, we had no idea of this character, because the last truly last controversial comedian we had in the US who wasn't cancelled by 1997 was Sam Kinison. So when I discovered this side of Barry Humphries, I had to know everything about him. What an amazing mind....he should be EVEN MORE FAMOUS than he is. As a musician who can play jazz, his improvisation on the stage is beyond reproach to me. Its not about scales...chords...etc....it is about reaction. I'd literally give anything to have lunch with this man and just listen to him talk.

Your right being in the U.S you don't know things about this. I miss the 80s when people like Grace Jones was popular but some people didn't know what to think of her. She is beautiful IMO but I was a kid at the time but I'd like to meet her. The good ole times are over as far as people and television.

He simply rips the piss out of everything Australian and seems to gloriously happy doing it. Barry Humphries is the best comedic personality our country has ever produced. I saw the value in Sir Les the very first time I saw him. Mr. Humphries has really big, hilarious balls.

Barry humpries is nothing short of genius. He timing,perception is second to none probably the greatest wit of all time. A master of his craft.

Sadly he'd be cancelled in 5 mins these days for a skit like this . Jackie Weaver was such a good sport in this - actually recognises humour without getting outraged about such offensive behaviour.

Barry Humphries An absolute genius, I saw him have Robbin Williams on the edge of his seat, he didn’t know where the next gag was coming from amazing!

I have seen this so many times. So when I feel fed up. This cracks me up.

Jacki Weaver in 2018 and at the age of 71 , is more successful than ever , having appeared in eight films. And been twice nominated for an Academy Award for best support actress .
