I am with you 💯 I was lucky to see him in Boston before Covid paused the tour and also in July this year at Gillette Stadium . He’s amazing and most definitely my favorite of all time since I was about 10 yrs old. So happy for him that he will now be able to hang out with David and his boys instead of being on the road as much as he was. That being said, I’ll most definitely miss seeing him hit those keys as amazing as he does when he’s live. ✌️💜🎵😊

No, he hadn’t. You were unaware / not paying attention. And he still is not retiring entirely - only from touring.
Interesting to see how mature and wise Elt has become over the years. He’s having his best life at 75 yo. He truly deserves it, after all. Top class by this man, even if he’s just doing an interview. Saw him for the first time on 10/29 @ San Antonio, TX and it was by far the best concert I’ve ever been to, a day I will never forget!
There will never be another Elton. An icon cherished by so many for so many reasons. Carry on and forever in our hearts and our souls.
Got to see him twice on his final tour. Both shows were spectacular! A living legend❤
His voice is timeless.
At about 5 years old, I listened to the Elton John Greatest Hits on my Dad's stereo, really quietly, over and over. Did the same with Beatles Revolver!

I absolutely commend Elton for what he has done, what he’s been doing, and now above all, what he is going to get to do. Elton is such an icon, role model, inspiration to so many! He’s the reason I never stopped playing piano myself. His story of his life is amazing. A true example of starting from nothing and achieving the world.
One could argue Elton John now has a perfect life. A loving husband, 2 kids he absolutely loves and is why he wants to retire from touring, an absolutely insane amount of money, he has worked and works with damn near everyone in the industry and yet his career is still going.

I’m so glad I went to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas to see him one last time. He’s better in person than listening to his songs in my car or home.
I went to that Dodger Stadium concert in '75. Good show. Elton was at his zenith. I can't recall the other bands. But it wasn't a solo concert. The sequins Dodger outfit was a hit.

Saw the Pittsburgh show in September and was one of the loudest and best concerts I’ve ever seen. And I saw Def Leppard a month before and about a hundred other shows
An icon in every sense of the word. His creations and his influence will live on long after he’s gone. Thank you Elton for all that beautiful music
To have lasting relevance in the contantly changing pop world is an astonishing achievement. He's done it!!!
I will miss u and ur beautiful music Love u Sir Elton always.
I have been a fan since age 12, and now that I am a "senior citizen" (as if that in itself is not mind- blowing enough), knowing I will never again see Elton in concert is almost too bitter a pill to swallow! He has been my constant companion throughout my life and its varied stages, and while I know he will be out there getting into all kinds of fun and trouble (just enough to keep things fun!), I will still mourn the end of the absolutely joyful experiences of seeing him live in concert. Attending those concerts over the years have been some of the highlights of my time thus far on the planet, and I am forever grateful for them. I admire Elton's intense work ethic, to which anyone who has ever attended an EJ concert can attest. The man is more than a decade older than me, and without fail, his concerts run at least 2.5 hours of sustained, love-of-craft, full-on, audience-fueled, high-intensity, lose- youself-in-it jammin', and I am sure I am joined by legions in mourning losing the opportunity to again get blissfully lost in that live happening. I send him my sincerest gratitude and very warmest wishes for the personal endeavors that lie before him. The gifts he has bestowed upon us from his mind and from his heart indubitably endear him to millions, and most certainly and immeasurably to me personally!

I love Elton John. So touching listening to him talk about his boys. He seems so real. Such an inspiration to us all. Love is truly all we need. Let’s all love one another! Love conquers everything!
Elton has had a stellar career. And one of the greatest pianists of all time
I grew up on Elton's music. He is a wonderful wonderful singer/songwriter and musician. To say his career has been EPIC would a dramatic understatement. He will certainly be missed when he no longer performs live, but I and I'm sure everyone else who loves his music wishes him well in his retirement. Just go on and enjoy your sons and we will forever be moved and uplifted by your talent Sir Elton John. Take care and God bless!!! 🙏❤
Have seen him 5 times in my life from 1970 until now and he just keeps getting better. One more final concert at the O2 in London in 2023, making the trip across the pond just for this event. I've seen most of the greats in my life and Sir Elton is certainly is right there at the top. Thanks for so many memories and "thank God your music's still alive because someone saved my life" many times throughout the years.Well done.
I got to see him perform live once and I would love to see him again. He is my number one favorite of all time. 🥰
i love this guy. I cant say i love all his music, BUT when i can say is i love his dedication to music and not just for himself but for his fans and the audience. He always wants to give the crowd the best possible experience live with no gimmicks, no autotune, no lip synching, BUT pure emotional connection while singing his music and interacting with the crowd. He is not only a true musician but also a true performing artist . God bless you mate , cheers !
