The point is 37 year old Ronaldo is better than every other attacker in that team. He was top goal scorer for us last season in one of his worst seasons ever. Fergie was managing a young player, on the way to the top. Ten Haag is managing one of the greatest players of all time. Can't compare the two.

The difference is though that ronaldo actually did get asked to be subbed on, and also he walked off when his team were winning, not losing

And everyone else on the team scored less because all play had to go through Ronaldo. 73 goals the seaon before. 57 goals the season he came back. Rashford 22 shots on goal that season. Ronaldo 110 shots on goal.

People against Ronaldo keeping saying "clubs bigger than the player" however, the club have shown they don't give a s*** about Ronaldo, so why should he show them any different? They've shown that even the most loyal and talented of their players is nothing to them, just a means to an end.

Ronaldos problem is that he thinks he is the most important person at a club. He's always been like that. Ronaldo thinks everything is about him and that the universe revolves around him. Glad to see a manager put him in his place and bring him down a peg or two.

Ferguson wouldn’t do that to Ronaldo… he would’ve set expectations and if he didn’t see him in his plan would’ve let him go. Remember he only came there for him. Not his original choice, united didn’t want to sign him until they heard Pep wanted him in city

My team Manchester United are so poorly served by these ex United pundits. I relate this to the Welsh Rugby team, another team I support, ex players from the golden era of the 70’s did nothing but criticize the players and the coaches and it was many many years before they won another grand slam then produced an era of winning under Gatland.
