Totally agree Rio, you have to have a dialogue with player of that stature. CR7 is a special kind of player, He scored for club more than any of the players in the club and it is forgotten with in heart beat. This is not right. I don't know why Jamie cannot see that. Noone is blame free in this, saying Ronaldo is a hero is a bit of a stretch. The facilities, science were the same last season while he got playing time and got paid a fat salary. He said he wanted to leave the moment the salary and his continued claim at superstardom was threatened, fair enough. This has nothing to do with his love for the club, it's about HIM! CR7's personality, dedication are very well known and proven that he didn't betrayed any of his clubs except some exceptions. So whenever he spoke up in public means something has been really going wrong. No one should be bigger than the club and I don't think CR7 thinks like that. He is highly emotional, dedicated, hard working which made him CR7 today. So if anyone just screaming for club, legacy, money, position rather than finding out existing problems and potential solutions; they are surely doing one thing for club- and that is dragging down the club to the hell.

Carragher loving every second of it. Fair play he was spot on. The fact he would have considered city tells you everything you need to know. His agent also touted him to barca, which would have gone down equally well with his "dream club" and their adoring fanbase. He is and always was a mercenary, the problem now is that he isn't good enough to hold anybody to ransom.

The end has been horrible and sad to see; but it is what it is: I think he always viewed himself as being bigger than the club and this time with United was more transactional than anything else.

I don’t get the Ronaldo flak. If we were a properly ran club, I don’t think he would’ve done this interview. If Ronaldo had seen our club striving for more and the manager respecting what he was going through behind the curtains, I’m sure he would’ve stayed. We, as a club, did not handle this well. I had a feeling that once Ronaldo joined, he would ruffle our feathers . Because we have been conforming to mediocrity and have no idea what the hell we’re doing . And yah that came to be.

This “Ronaldo scored 24 goals last season so he’s not a problem” is such a weak point. United finished 3rd and 2nd the two previous seasons, Martial + Rash + Mason outscored liverpools title winning front 3. But when Ronaldo joined, he hogged all the goals and the other attackers goal rate dropped and so did Brunos (martial was key to winning pens for Bruno too, which Ronaldos not going to win). He wins but the team loses. Same thing at Juve, now happening with us. Perez got rid of him at the perfect time.

Tchouameni is a long term piece to replace him and I don’t think Casemiro has that Kroos mentality of just staying around to help the youngsters when he’s still able to put in WC performances. Plus, Casemiro wanted to leave after winning it all and he wanted to join United. Different to the Di Maria transfer for example, he didn’t want to leave and we paid the money for him. What I’m confused about is how he said ETH doesn’t want him and the “other guys” (higher ups I’m assuming) didn’t want him last year yet, he was still bought by the club and he chose to join. And if they wanted him gone this summer and he wanted to leave, why didn’t he go? Doesn’t add up. Guess we’ll see in the next few days

The part when Rio mentions ... is my favorite part tbh!

Ronaldo showed last season that if the team played to his strengths he could still perform...some classic moments such as the last minute comeback winner against Atalanta that reinvigorated a sense of Man U's history and Fergie time. But management decided to pursue a particular fashionable playing style, high press, possession football etc..rather than recruiting and forming the team around his strengths. So, no wonder he's unhappy.

The entire team was worse trying to play to Ronaldos strengths. Ronaldo personally had a good season, but at the expense of every other forward having to change their games. We finished 2nd without him, and even of you say that was down to Liverpool having a shocker, it was still alot better than after Ronaldo.

Probably one of the biggest mistake Ronaldo did right now was to have this interview with Piers Morgan and not have in agreement for the full interview to be published straight away. All this clip release business has done is get Morgan way more views and forced people to make up their mind even before they listen to the full interview.

Ronaldo is known for his work ethics, execution of games, For no sugar coating words,Records and Scoring,Messi have failed when he played for PSG last season AND this season he's doing well bcoz people at PSG are working out and solving the issue there and this season he has a great record the man is playing like he did at Barca but at same time Ronaldo came to United and played exceptionally well with struggling team ,No good defence,no good midfield and players like jadon Sancho were turned to Crap by the club everyone who knows football and seen performance knows Sancho's Value. ETH did mention even in interviews that he wanted CR7 because of his goals. On the other hand CR7 wanted out. Logically, if you come put in public andvsay you want a player then you should play. There were times too when ETH said that we can let him go in January once we get a replacement for him. This shows that he kept CR7 only because they did not have a striker. Last season Rashford & Martial played badly but unfortunately they were treated better and given more opportunity
