A brilliant band, gifted musicians, a fantastic singer . performer, and what a killer set ! John McGeoch-era Banshees were the best live band of the early 1980s

That's my sister she's holding hands with at the end of the video (1:13:08), we both were sitting in front of the stage. What a treat to find this!

I admire 'Monitor' so much!!!

My fave era McGeoch and Budgie were excellent. McGeoch was taken away too soon amazing guitarist loved his stuff with Magazine too

Budgie, during Israel is just amazing...watch closely...

This is wonderful. Incredible band.. mesmerizing performance by SIOUXSIE. She is brilliant.

Since and after this performance, all the girls in Amsterdam were dancing like Siouxie, same hairdo, mine did!!

Crazy good set list. Wish I could have seen them at this point in their career.

I think this is the only time I've ever heard REGAL ZONE live. Awesome.

In America we were listening to Christopher Cross and Styx when the Banshees made JuJu how sick is that!

Judging by the setlist, I think this is the Paradiso concert that happened on the day before, so you might want to correct the info to 16/07/81.

So neat to hear Regal Zone live! Join Hands is such a misunderstood album and it's such a good one. It and The Scream are like tableaux of what was to come. But Join Hands gets overlooked for some reason.

Such a shame there is no quality concert footage of this (the best) version of the Banshees. This and their other concerts of the period were the best ever. All good but Tenant and Monitor top it for me.
