Apart from the sound, so much better than nocturne. So much more attack. I first saw 2 months later at Hammersmith. RIP John M.
I was just too young, saw them 2 years later with Smith and they were lacking most of this attack. Im sure he was tough to deal with but he sounds incredible here. Who would fire this guitarist?!?

He was in a terrible state before both shows but still somehow managed to play as well as this. He was taken home to his wife at the time who took him to a psychiatrist who recommended hospitalisation. He was visited in hospital by the bass player and manager and, apparently, told he was no longer in the band. Confirmation came by letter. And that was it. Approx. four weeks later he was working on other projects. Apparently he also attended the first night of the Kiss in the Dreamhouse tour. Hung out with the crew - who saw him as one of their own anyway.
47:52 Spellbound sounds really good in a different key. But that could be from the tape getting sped up?
I've just read the biog but it skirts around what happened in Madrid. There was some embarrassment I understand.
Altro colpaccio, Max
Vocales están mal en la grabación. Esa época no es come la de hoy. Pase el 84 en el Rock Ola
I think that, apart from JMG and his input, they were pitiful and adolescent and suburban.
