Artists want to move on and evolve, not go over the same ground. Staying true to yourself means doing what you want even if your old punk fans won't like it.

Siouxsie was never hidden behind 'frizzzzz'; she spikey hair, big fkn deal. She looked wonderful then, she looks wonderful now. She's her own person undaunted by years in a misogynist industry or puerile judgement of her & her music since she first lit up the scene.

One of my absolute favs...love the Indian flavour and her voice is just magical...wondetful voice and tune :-)

I still remember heard this song on the radio back in 1991 it was mind blowing to hear the Banshees going House and Electronic. I love it, and this video too.

It's without any doubt better for posterity to be recognized by peers and artists: and on that point, the Banshees have got a very high profile

But we were bombarded by chart sh*t too; when people do '80s or '90s nights it's only the crap they play, as if the good stuff never existed! Having KZread is the real luck; music's easier to find, with videos I never saw at the time unless a mate's parents had MTV - but all at our finger tips now! No having to hunt it down via sneery shops owners who think 'house music' is all. Music that won't get scratched, stolen or eaten by a cassette player. You can surround yourself with your chosen music from the past xx decades as if the crap doesn't exist! ❤️

I think all teens think music during that period of their life was the best. That said, I WAS a teen in the 80s. The music, clothes and colours were very different and special, coming out of the browns and flares of the 70s. (Cue major roasting from 70s teens!)

I was lucky to see them in 1983. She is one of the most interesting looking women I've ever seen. All the looks she created I see much of it mirrored in artists today. She's a trail blazer of a different type. I love her.

Maybe some talented people that you don't know about have silicone implants. Appreciating someone doesn't mean despising someone else, in my opinion. Also, talent and surgery are two different leagues, not really competing.

You have to admire those pioneers from 77 to 81. From John Lydon, to Souxie to Boy George and those that took the alternative route, such as, The cure and The Smiths.

I saw this iconic lady and her band live at Nottingham’s Rock City promoting their Superstition album in the early 1990s where this great song came from. Strange enough, I was watching a KZread documentary on actress Jayne Mansfield the other night, which this song is dedicated to. Such a tragic end to such a beautiful woman, who could’ve reached her acting potential had it not been the misogyny in the Hollywood movie business back then. She wasn’t a dumb blonde either, as Jayne was relatively well spoken and had a very high IQ of 163.

Wow .. This song is absolutely magical ! .. Had only heard it briefly when it was released, and I didn't know then that it was by the wonderful Siouxsie & The Banshees .. But listening to it here, and with this fantastic video featuring Siouxsie looking astoundingly beautiful and sexy, this is totally mesmerising and addictive .. Looooove it !!!

What awesome, polished moves? With the rhythm and “folk” vocal of Siouxsie. Damn, why didn’t Siouxsie gain worldwide popularity? What kind of injustice? By the way, greetings from connoisseurs of creativity from Russia.😃

Mesmerising voice and looks! Siouxie Sioux is a perfect female artist indeed.

I attended a venue of Siouxsie in 1985, a memorable experience

The best song from this band.

Wow! I've never seen Siouxsie looking so "conventional" [but still v- sexy] then realised it was lack of black mascara and more natural looking hairdoo. She's got it no matter what she looks like any way.

I think this is the most beautiful that Siouxsie was seen in ANY of the music videos she was seen in. This was a music video where she was seen with her most 'Natural' face. It is probably in her portrayal of the Jane mansfield character in the music video, where she just was able to naturally portray that character in the visual of the music video.

She's half French if I remember well and I think she's letting her frenchness come out a bit here. But this single is very mainstream for Siouxsie as well as the looks.

This song is the kind of stuff that fascinates me with 90s.

This mix of Indian music is such a great match with her voice and the own band itself . I love the music they made♥️💎⭐

Up until now I mainly loved Siouxsie for the sampling tour de force that was Peep Show. I somehow managed to miss this. It's glorious.

Such a beautiful woman. Incomparable.

Love this song, but what I also love is seeing Siouxsie without her thick black makeup and what a beautiful woman she is. Always seemed so individualistic too and stuck to her own style which I love.

Siouxsie and the Banchees.So underrated.Their music so original,unique, beautiful. Siouxsie is so sophisticated in her style and a fine singer and a subtle beauty. One of the Best bands.🔝🌠
