Siopao Asado Ground Pork - WHITER DOUGH ( Pang Negosyo Idea )
Hello!
For today's easy recipe we will be cooking siopao asado ground pork! I will be sharing tips and tricks to make your siopao dough white! Yummy!
Enjoy cooking!
Ingredients:
For Filling:
1/2 kg ground pork
3 tbsp onion
2 tbsp garlic
4 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp shortening or lard
4 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp oyster sauce
1 cup water
1/2 tsp anis
1 tbsp cornstarch deluted with 1/2 cup water
For Dough:
4 cups flour
2 cups warm milk
1 1/2 tbsp yeast
1 tbsp baking powder
4 tbsp white sugar
4 tbsp lard or shortening

I love how you just used the mixer for everything. Very practical and no unnecessary washing up. Also, love that you used ground pork as it will be much more easier to form and tender to the bite, Brilliant! Can’t wait to give it a go!

salamat po dito sa measurements ng ingredients..malaking tulong para sa mga housewives para may pangmiryenda sa pamilya. iba pa rin kasi ang home made lalo na kung gawa ni nanay..may kasamang pagmamahal ang pag gawa natin diba ate? i will try this for sure. padala ka naman po ng asado siopao sa amin ate salamat in advance....

What paper did you use underneath the siopao? Can i use parchment paper?

Zannie Leiter wax paper , you can use parchment paper.
I used this recipe. The next time I make it, I will reduce the amount of yeast from 1 1/2 tablespoons to 2 1/2 teaspoons and reduce 4 tablespoon soya sauce to 3 tablespoons or a tad less than 3 tablespoons. But thank you for sharing. I chose to watch your channel because I would rather watch than listen to verbal demo.

Do you know why the dough came out so sticky? I tried it 3 times but the results came out the same. So sticky and the dough keep on raising.

Hi! Using the mixer, how long was the first setting (mixing and what number in mixer setting) then I noticed you change the mixer setting to knead and what number is it, how long? I hope to hear from you. Thanks
