I am a truck driver for the Wenatchee Youth Circus and we use semi axles as pins for the rigging anchors and they don't always hold no matter how deep they get pounded. Sometimes we back them up with another set of anchors with chains and turn buckles...

Man watching you guys do that is fun… makes me miss all my days in the shop and field. Now I’m 48 and fat with bad feet, ankles, and knees. Let me stand (I’ll sit tho) as a warning: work right, lift right, don’t jump down when you can climb, and stay strong.

Hey Dustin, great recovery on such a narrow road. Bringing the med duty down there was a great choice. What I like about your channel and content is there is no bickering about how to do things. Nice job on the recovery. But my ?is of he's on a farm why didn't he use some of his own equipment to get the truck out. I'm sure it was cus if he broke something he wouldn't have to replace it or he just flat out didn't want to do it an give others the chance to make some money. I'm not hating just wondering.

I noticed that you have the output of one battery going to the winch and the other battery is connected in parallel to the 1st battery. This is not really the way to do it. You have the second battery going to the first battery in parallel, but you take off the power for your winch from one battery positive and from the other battery negative. This way the load for the winch is off both batteries. And both batteries will work together. This is NOT 24v going to the winch. I am assuming the winch is 12v.
