There is a caddie done years ago. I think it was called cruella. I can’t tell which is nicer. Both sick. Correction, pony’s murdered out 66 Cadillac is the name of the video. Looking back this is sexier but I’d love either.

I love how the black actually hides the 4 door and makes it look 2 door almost!

You can tell it is a four door from the rear. 4 door sport sedans used a different back window.

I don’t know I had a 1987 Buick Grand National and it had the yellow bulbs in the front and it looked bad ass especially at dawn when the clouds would turn yellow the car just looked so sweet

My first 57 was a 4-slammer hard top. I love the roofline on them. This is a outstanding build.

You dont really notice its a 4dr. So clean and the matt with gloss black is excellent!! Its a 56 that isn't as popular but this builder knocked it out of the park. What a Great ride!!!

Shawn, much like what some of the other commenters said, it's was really hard to notice that it's actually a 4 door. After seeing this wild paint job, it really lends itself to other new ideas. Something that popped into my head was wondering how the car would look if unpainted black carbon fiber (and cleared) was substituted for the shiny black paint? Or, if the black carbon fiber was placed in the flat black paint areas only? Another scheme idea would be to use black ghost flame styles (or other colors of choice, perhaps blue) on a fully painted flat black body. Later!

I barely noticed it's a 4 door because the lines are so clean & all that black paint really looks great, too.

I have seen it in person on a couple of occasions and never realized it was a 4dr. Awesome ride, but it should have been named "SINISTER."

Very nice and different combo of matte and gloss......gonna be a lot of guys copying this in the future! Generally don't like 'em bagged but the stance on this thing is SO RIGHT that the bags are great. There's a lot more to this ride than meets the eye. The longer a fella looks; the more he sees......pretty awesome.

Been a subscriber for a little over a year now. Best show ever PERIOD. That is the baddest chevy, without a doubt. Keep those shows coming

The 56 Bel Air offers the best chrome trim break for a 2 tone paint job. I had a red and white 56 nomad and even that trim was perfect for a 2 tone paint and those two colors made that car pop. This was a great call with the flat and shinny.. its definitely a one of a kind.

My dad used to have a 57 bel air 4 door. He had to sell it but one day I'm going to get him another one. Do a similar type of build to give him all the comforts of a 2020 but with the 57 bel air look. And needs at least 650whp

The most beautiful dark bel-air I have ever seen..i love them..and this one looks like it mite have been a prototype and they didn’t build it..but always nice cars and a good video to go along with it..

If you had told me last week that I would go nuts over a '56 4 door Bel Air in matte black I would have called you crazy Shawn. Welp, looks like I'm the crazy one. 4 door is perfect with the shaved handles. And the gloss and matte combo is just spot on. Color me impressed.

Man what a great resto mod! It's hard to tell that it's a four door at first glance. Really like his take on matte black to gloss black contrast. I am sure thiers some purist out their all hot and bothered by all the blacked out chrome and the bird on the hood. Plus thoose wheels with the knock offs, shut the front door. This is by far the best youtube channel out thier, please keep em coming!!

@@Robert-goose1 went modern cars rubber bumpers get hit by rocks, the bumpers will give a little, rock does less damage that big grill on that 56, will flex at 70 rpm after many times of this paint will peel on steel
