Is it just me, but I feel like some of y’all really bringing down Minji for doing exactly what the red flag guy did. You guys use excuses like, “It’s a dating game ofc he can have multiple choices” and be fine with it, and you cant accept Minji intervening in their paradise date? What’s the deal, it’s just a dating show right?

I do agree that gwanhee should've gotten as much hate as Minji (if not more). But I think that scene is particularly hated because the viewers generally look down on impolite behavior. Impolite behavior includes: (1) Butting in on someone else's conversation or date (when you're interested in one of the ppl and/or your presence is unwelcome). (2) Ignoring your date or a person that has feelings for you. *note: Obviously you can ignore the person if they're breaking the first rule, or if you already made your feelings clear that you're not interested in that person.

@@isntsheabeaut7456 Of course those you have mentioned are impolite manners, but it is allowed to do so because this is a dating show. Minji and Gwanhee are basically the same soul, just different body. Whatever Minji had done, Gwanhee would likely do the same thing and vice versa. It’s just bewildering to me that people are hating on a play girl and allow a play boy to shine. This is also the reason why I started liking Gyuri. She sets her boundaries straight and makes sure that other people know.

@@CaroCaro7517 I really agree with you that Gwanhee and Minji seem like the same type of "players", and Gwanhee is way worse than Minji, but somehow no one cares?? Ig it's because he had multiple girls interested in him, so he became the "it" boy or whatever (dumb tho). I think we'll have to agree to disagree about what should be done on a dating show though. My view is that just because something is "allowed," doesn't mean you should do it, or that you would get away with doing it (because other ppl will watch and judge). For example, in the real world, if you were casually dating Person A (not officially together yet, just getting to know each other), and then intentionally interrupted Person A's date with someone else, it would be wrong. Because you both equally have the right to get to know other ppl before deciding to become official or not.
