The fact that they are both so flawed is just great. Neither one of them is like “Drama perfect” ya know? She’s kind of elitist, cold and self centered but she’s intelligent, confident and incredibly loyal to anyone she cares about. He’s stubborn, disrespectful and at times apathetic towards anyone outside of his community, while also being incredibly friendly, altruistic and reliable. It just makes their chemistry that much better. Like I understand why they dislike each other at first and I can totally see why they fall in love with each other

Agree completely...except for the "disliking each other" part....I felt like the characters did like each other immediately, but just couldn't bring themselves to admit it, which made all the jabs and insults that much funnier as they struggle to accept their feelings.

Both of them changed their personalities for the better. Dushik being unable to open up and Hyejin being lavish but they both changed. Dushik learning to open up and forgive himself and Hyejin being in love with the simple life and the simple things especially if its being given by Dushik

I don't think that was ever her true character though. It seemed to be a coping strategy she developed as a result of her insecurity in college after she was ridiculed for her lack of sophistication by her then-boyfriend. All the glimpses we see before that incident show a quiet and humble girl. I think being in Gonjin and with Dushik made her feel comfortable enough to drop the constant need to project a specific image and just be herself, though her love of expensive clothes does seem to be a genuine trait she developed. LOL

She is self-centered and condescending, but she also knows how to stand up for herself and she's very loyal. I appreciate how her character has been written because it demonstrates that people are flawed too; not many series highlight a character's shortcomings. Especially, in romance.

I just love this guy’s acting. He can make you cry and laugh at the same time

Their chemistry are the best. Like if i dont know Shin Min A has a boyfriend i will thinking that they are really in love. Also Shin Min A is really good in acting aegyo. This is the best K Drama I have ever seen. The scenes looks straight out of a sketchbook. Inspite of the cultural differences you can still relate to the characters and the situations depicted in this show. I am HOOKED

I'll be honest, at first i only picked this up becuase I was butt-hurt about Han Ji Pyeong and I wanted to see the actor in a lead role. As the story went along I was hooked by the leads' chemistry and now that I've finsihed it, I can't get over it

This drama beautifully portrayed both the characters and not only them , the villagers , the events , the plot was shown in such a memorable way , ofc the humour was on the top! 😆👌. At first i was a bit hesitant to watch it but once i started it i came to realise that it was one of the best decision I had made . Spectacular drama!! 🤩😍

I love this couple. They are so cute

This was such a good series! Their chemistry was surprisingly great, and the way they built it up over the episodes was so realistic. Plus, it had one of the best-written supporting cast of characters I've ever seen (which to me, is the sign of a great drama). The structure of each episode (with the background scene at the end) was super-clever. Lastly, it gave us "Romantic Sunday" as outro music. 9.5/10 series, they were terrific.
