Bottom line is if you're a Christian and you're single you have to live chaste. Period. When I was single I stayed super busy and didn't allow myself to be in situations where temptation was going to drop me I didn't get it right every time. It was still sin. Frequency doesn't determine an act sin or not sin. Every one of us is and faces temptation. By no means does heavy temptation make sin less sinful.

I listen to all your podcast episodes, and each one is great. This one, however, has been absolutely mind blowing. I know recovery is a long journey, and in the three years I have been on my own journey, I have learned a lot. Just when I thought I have heard it all, however, this episode dropped a lot of fresh theological truth. Thanks for this!

I admit, I struggled to see concrete positives on Singleness as it applies to everyone. I can see how celibacy and singleness is a gift applicable to some, but certainly not for everyone. How would a same sex attracted person who does not feel giftedness find joy? I am entering into retirement and and finding that having gone thru life alone is indeed a horrible fate. Personally, I do not recommend it.

He believes you can't be a Christian and be in a gay relationship. It a distinction that needs to be made with those who call themselves "Gay Christian."

@inYTbio_SiteLINKs2Verses_Bruv I once worked with a man who was gay, and the son of a Baptist Pastor. He's an atheist, but knows the Bible better than anyone I've ever met (he could read Greek). One day, a well meaning but clueless woman, asked him to attend her "Affirming Church". He said something like, "Honey, f@gs like me don't make it to heaven, read your Bible.". I was raised a Catholic, but really am not much of a believer. For the life of me, I've never understood why gays want to attend church--when the scriptures state what my co-worker did.
