Singing Warm Up - Soprano Full Range

Full Range Soprano Singing Warm Up
SUBSCRIBE
kzread.info_cente...
Title says it all. A progressive full range warm up for soprano range singers. Starts easy enough with some gentle descending scales, quickly moves on to smooth and somewhat faster arpeggio/scale combos. Finishes up with some lip trill, range development exercises and pure vowel exercises in the upper register.
Enjoy!

sounds like the wrong person to listen to! when I was young my father told me I had an unbearable strident voice. That broke my heart but I kept singing anyway. then in my thirties he slipped up once when he heard me singing and said, "God, that's beautiful." I was startled. I said, "But you told me the whole time I was growing up that I had a terrible voice." He replied, "That's because that's not what I wanted you to do with your life." Who knows why you mother said that to you. I can pretty much guess, though, that the comment was deep seated in some psychological problem of her own that has nothing to do with you. SING! It will be the joy of your life!

@@liseliddell9918 This is horrible, to actually lie to your kid just because you want to steer her on the "right" path - that is the wrong path for sure. I had the opposite problem with my son, he has a beautiful Baritone, was actually on the school choir, but as much as i encouraged him he never sang to his full capacity and let it go after school.

i lived in conviction of that i cant sing at all until my friend - czech singer, told me to test my voice out as i always wanted to sing at least good enough to sing for myself at home and she found out that i i CAN sing, but i only didnt practice my voice and also found out that i am a perfect soprano singer and i can sing higher than her which pleased me as i adore her as one of the best singers of my country and yet she cant sing as high as i can. Yet she is teaching me to find my voice, including also teaching me how to breathe correctly and how to warm up. But because she cant sing as high as i can, i cant warm up my voice completly, this video helped me alot for those warming up my high voice :)

I use to be in choir and vocal lessons and was doing really well and able to hit my whistle tones and at my peak had a 4 octave range! Needless to say if you don’t use it you lose it! I used to find the last two exercises impossible to do at the top of the range until I followed your method of vowel placement first on your PDF guide to your channel, Jeff. Today I got right through the exercise and hit all of the notes and it was all down to proper vowel placement which I learned by following the proper sequence of exercises as per your guide.

I have literally always been a Soprano 2 Except for 7th grade (when I was a Soprano 1) Literally nothing has changed. But it's weird and interesting because I can sing super low and kind of high but the gap between them is huge and hard to build a bridge on.

This is an excellent soprano warmup. THANK YOU SO MUCH. Really eased me over the break and opened up that maximum resonance in the head voice. Also showed me I need to get back to breath support work. This doesn't even compare to all the other warmups I went through on youtube that don't take the proper time to blend the registers. Thank you again. Will be revisiting this one. :)

Thank you so much for this, before COVID I was a choral emphasis music major and performed regularly, but I switched my major because I hated learning music online and I haven’t sung since March 2020 (I’m writing this October 2021). Because of lack of practice I’ve lost all my technique and most of my range, so I can’t wait to start working on it again!

I've been using these videos for a while now and I just wanted to thank you so much for them. I've been singing for a little over 11 years now and cannot play the piano myself. It's so helpful having a resource to turn to and one that's so phenomenal. You're my audition/singing lesson hero (both on soprano and alto warm ups haha)!

Sang alto my whole life knowing I could “hit” high notes because of my perfect pitch but my tone never being good and then suddenly my last year of college Acapella I was put on soprano and now that I’ve graduated and am trying out for community choir I simply cannot hit the alto range required anymore so time to develop my upper range 10/10 exercises
