Only Rammstein can make a stadium full of French people sing in German

Imagine, that's a German band, doing the performance in Germany, but in the middle of France, in their capital Paris. The audience knows everything and were totally into it.

Keep in mind, that they are in Paris and the French are singing along in German. THAT is a big thing!!! By the way: The greasy look of them is actually anti-fire paste due to their extreme pyro show.

Yea, I read that in 1996, there was a major incident with Rammstein with their Pyros. Now, since then Rammstein has professional Pyro Team working on the Pyros. Singer, Till Lindenmann is now license Pyro Technician too.

That's what I find the most amazing thing too: To see the audience go wild on singing the german text, while we are in a country where usually noone likes to speak another language than french and every foreigner is expected to do so too. This is quite fascinating for me.

The Paris concert was excellent, and I wish I was there. Those involved along with the band, did an excellent job putting everything together. 👍😃

The singer Till Lindemann is not only a singer and poet he also has been a trained pyrotechnician since 1996. After explosive and fire performances became the core element of the stage show at Rammstein concerts and often resulted in injuries to fans and musicians in the initial phase, he acquired a so-called pyro certificate. So he know what he is doing.

What fascinates me about Rammstein on and onagain are the multiple meanings in their lyrics. They play with words so skillfully. I don't know if a non native speaker gets them all, even it has subtitles. Lots of love from Switzerland 🤗🇨🇭

The hasst-hast wordplay is genious. It's 1.5 s's, instead of two or one. Something that tickles a language nerd, even this one who only knows basic German.

This song has so much power. The show it is entertaining, catching and fascinating beyond the limits.

*When I first saw this video..* I assumed they'd put the fireworks in, post editing, along with the static electric effect. But then I watched them at *Wacken* and YES... He really does shoot fireworks over the crowd.. WOW !!!

the leader of the group is also an pyrotech master. nothing is fake everything is real. this group is one of the masters of metal in europe without publicity, without media promotion since 1994. I'm more of the hip hop culture, but this group is different it generates power that I found nowhere else :o the charisma of the leader is incredible to have met him

The band for me who can do no wrong. Quality and performance personified.

It's like Quentin Tarantino melts down Lang's Metropolis into a song. Strong visual and words with a lot of unspoken but hidden contexts.

I've been to some amazing concerts, but the best live show I've ever seen was Rammstein. They are phenomenal live, and so far and above any one else it's crazy.

The crowd control though.... I love Rammstein. Ty for the react. 🤙

Rammstein and Till are one of the rare groups that sound even better live.

this was my 1st concert of Rammstein, and it was awesome, i wasn't expecting the end of the song with the fireworks ! they did 2 dates of this show in Paris, it was recorded on the 2 dates, but most on the 2nd and they also did some shoot on stage but before the show for the Lightning it was added after the record, for the DVD/BR Du hast is the 12st song of the show (for a total of 22 songs) and we were something like 20k people in the crowd

I was at this show, which happen in March 2012. This is the peak of it, after "Mein Teil", "Du Riescht So Gut" and "Links 2,3,4", and the crowd was red hot.

Ah Paris, does help when your singer is a pyro tech. He decided to get qualified after an accident that set the stage on fire, if I remember correctly. And I think some of the rest of the band are also trained.

Not completely the stage. It happened at a performance in 1996 in Berlin. The sign with the burning band-name came down and unfortunately went partly into the first row. Some of the audience where injured and were brought to hospital. luckily only one had to stay, the other injured could leave the same night. Till helped the crew as it happened and after the band finished the concert they went to hospital. They hired a company, but they did not do their job as well as they should have, so Till decided, that he is getting the "big licence" and the members the "little" one. There are several categories in Germany as I know. Where was this concert at in Paris? It wasn’t the Parc des Princes was it?

If you want a show... RAMMSTEIN Now you have to imagine that it's been years and every tour is getting bigger and bigger. In the last one they had six pillars distributed in the growd stand. All of them spit 10 meters high flames. In addition, a stage that is so large that the band looks like miniature toys. And a heat from the flames, even when the weather is cold.

Only one stop in 🇨🇦 and it’s a 6 hour drive. I really want to go but that’s a lot of driving plus a hotel. I’m hoping they add Toronto but that’s not likely. I just can’t see me missing these guys either, I’m in a bind, lol.

Second to none masters of live shows, pyro and heavy crunchy riffs! A German industrial heavy metal band that only sings in german owning a crowd in Paris, you gotta be special. Check them out doing the same in America: "Ich Tu Dir Weh" live in Madison Square Garden is an absolute banger and the performance is even more impressive. Great reaction.

What I like about your setup is that unlike most other streamers your living room actually looks like your living there... books on the ground with headphones on top next to the sofa, a half full glass of water and some other stuff on the table, a blanket on your sofa etc.

Rammstein shows are something special to behold. Go see one in 2022, you won't regret it nor forget it

The concert was back in 2012 and the song is part of a concert film that was released in 2017. The effects are all real except for the lightning that comes out of the keyboard player's hand, which was added later.

Grat reaction no pausing save till the end good stuff

Impossible to see the live shows and not want to go desperately to at least one in life ! Next goal !

I actually own 2 concert DVD’s one of them is Paris, the other one is an earlier one from Berlin, In that one the Microphone stands etc were lit up, along with various other pyro technics and fire . They are truly one of a kind band with the live shows.

Do not forget the purpose of the song: When you marry, 2 sentences are told ... Do you want to be faithful? Do you want to keep beside me on good, like on bad days? (sorry, I'm French, so maybe the sentences are not really exact) And the woman's voice answers "yes", with some fire, and he answers "no", with more fire, and at the end shooting and at least all goes in fire. And then, you understand the first part of the song "Du, du hast, du hast mich" means "you, you have, you have [...] me ...", but can also be understood (same pronunciation) as "Du, Du hasst, du hasst mich" -> "you, you hate, you hate me". Only after that you can understand it right: "Du hast mich gefragt" -> "you asked me" -> And he answers "I just said nothing" - which is not the same as "I didn't answer", it is more a reaction when a cop ask you something, then when it is your wife. So it is a song about making a big mistake destroying all, about men want to marry one girl but refuse to be faithful and with the same wife for a long time and at same time do not want to admit it, so a little bit coward. Hu, it's a punch in the face, isn't it? I know a lot of guys, how were in the same situation, abd it ended NOT funny.

I once had my bags checked in Berlin airport by an employee that looked exactly like the lead singer. I did everything he asked without complaining!

Fun fact....that isn't fake lightning....it is actual lightning generated from a Tesla Coil and the treadmill is what keeps him from being fried like a potato chip! 😂 Rammstein's mastery of pyrotechnics and visual effects in concert is second to none! 😀

I don't exactly recall if it was last year or way before, but during one of their concert in Italy someone that were close to that concert but unaware about it, called the firemen 'cause he thought there was a fire going on!
