The most intense and at the same time most beautiful way to enjoy Tills voice is to see and hear "Mein Herz brennt" the official piano version. It's incredibly impressive.

If you would like to hear more "singing" voice from Till, you definitely should check those songs next: "Ohne Dich" (a beautiful ballad), "Zeit" (official music video), "Mein Herz Brennt" (both official and piano version - they are quite different), "Reise, Reise", "Ich Tu Dir Weh" (live from Madison Squer Garden), "Adieu" (official music video), "Deutschland" (official music video). Aside from that, there is a collab between Till Lindemann and french vocalist ZAZ "Le jardin des larmes" - Till sings in french there and it's gorgeous :)

Ohne Dich seems so underrated by Rammstein fans, its so beautiful and show the range of the band.

It was 1997 when "Du Hast" was released, I was 4 years old and it blew my mind as a kid when I saw the video on MTV. I'll never forget that day and I will always remember when my Mom kept re-recording the video on VHS, so she can show my Dad once he came home from work. It blew his mind as well because we became huge fans ever since that day and Rammstein never disappointed us since. Now, fast forward 25 years later and I finally went to my first Rammstein concert here in NJ at MetLife Stadium. As in my Dad's honor, especially since it has been 10 years since he has have been gone, I made sure to not miss this show at all. I took my 64 year old rockstar Mom along with me because she's a metalhead herself and we couldn't miss this opportunity. Plus, Mom and I just couldn't stop headbanging to every song Rammstein played and we were in section 226, which was an excellent experience and I uploaded some videos myself on KZread. By the way, to all of you on here, Rammstein is one of my all time favorite bands and definitely the greatest band you will ever since live, which is why I recommend you all to one day go to their concert. 🎸🤘

Heh, I was two when it was released. Born October second 1995. But I was first heard Rammstein when I was way in my tenth years (2005-2007) and was my second European metal band I’ve heard (after Nightwish) that shaped my current musical tastes in metal and helped me to transition from my usual Russian rock and metal I am listening at the time to an European metal scene later in 2016))

Lovely reaction! If you want vocals, try "Mein Herz Brennt", the piano version. Or Frühling in Paris, live. Ohne Dich, official video. His duet with Zaz "Le jardin des larmes". Such a beautiful voice. Till refused to call himself a singer for a long time, even after he got vocal training. In the early years he wouldn't even sing, only chant and sing-speak.

If you really want to hear the crowd involvement at their shows, check out a live version of "Ich Will" Also, Till, the singer, is a licensed pyrotechnician. And for some reason, he seems to enjoy performing while in pain. In fact, her has performed their song "Rammstein" while completrly engulfed in flame for well over 2 minutes. Theyre an amazing band and always have killer live shows.

They did make a song named 'ohne dich' in wich we get to hear the softer side of Till's voice. Its just beautiful.

A couple of recommendations for Till in a more ballad style are: "Mein herz brennt" (Piano version), "Ohne Dich" (official video), "Zeit" (official Video) and than his side projects: Zaz - "Le jardin de larmes" Ft Till Lindemann, Till Lindemann: Любимый город "LUBIMIY GOROD” (Beloved Town), David Garett & T.L "Alle Tage ist kein Sonntag".

As others have said, more ‘sung’ songs would be ‘Ohne Dich’, ‘Zeit’ and the (official) piano version of ‘Mein Herz Brennt’. Of those, ‘Zeit’ would be the most moving.

You need to listen more of Rammstein,they are on of the best bands which ever existed, every each of their songs is great, and every live performance is actually amazing,plus, they sound better live than on CD,I absolutely love it.

It's funny you mention the Matrix.. this was on the original soundtrack for the matrix. It didn't make the movie; but, it's one of my favorite parts of that sound track followed closely behind by 'clubbed to death' which is a funny title until you realize it's a club beat and an interesting play on words. Beautiful instrumental piece against this driving industrial metal bit. Just knocked that soundtrack out of the park. This version, is better still. Just bought the album and blueray combo. Saw that they had 40 cameras going to capture this. Mind blown.

Their lyrics are so clever, and then with amazing music on top... Du hasst can mean two things.. You have, or You hate, it really depends on the rest of the text, and in general you will find lots of innuendos and double meanings in pretty much all their songs...

I havent red the other comments but this literally means "you asked me and I said nothing".... it is about asking for mariage and the lead singer is a trained pyrotechnitian so he whants the fire and all that but it is safe

If you want more 'Mad Max' you should try Unleash The Archers - Tonight We Ride. That particular clip will fit right in. They are a Canadian power metal band with female lead. If you like Rammstein, it'd be cool to see you react to Feuer Frei. Not many people go to that one, but it's definitely one of my favourites of theirs.

There are a lot of amazing performances of Rammstein live but my prefered one is "Puppe" as I have never heard such a strong expression of anger in a song. If you choose this one, you need to have a look on the lyrics before. Anyway, it's always a better experience with Rammstein if you understand the lyrics.

The lyrics of "Du hast" are simple but a bit tricky: The first three words are "Du hast mich" (you have me) which at that moment doesn't make any sense in German. But it sounds (intentionally) the same as "Du hasst mich" (you hate me). Later in the song, the first three words are extended to a full sentence: "Du hast mich gefragt und ich hab nichts gesagt." (You asked me and I did not answer.) And then, to show what he was asked, the chorus is a wedding vow: "Willst Du bis der Tod euch scheidet treu ihr sein für alle Tage?" (Do you want to be faithful to her for all days until death do us part?) This is answered first by a kind of female voice "Ja" (yes) and afterwards by Till's harsh voice "Nein!" (No!). These - plus a slightly obscene word play on the wedding vow, that I will not explain here - are the whole lyrics (repeated a few times). In case of Rammstein, precise translations of the lyrics is hard work (and sometimes not possible in subtitles), because they are playing many times with double meanings of words or slightly modify common German expressions and symbolic language pictures to invert or change their meanings. (That is even used in the very simple lyrics of "Du hast".) I wish you to enjoy your Rammstein journey.

I used to think that Alice Cooper's stage shows were the best, then I went to a Rammstein show while deployed in Germany. It blew Alice Cooper away, plus the music is great to boot, not completely fluent in German from my deployments, but enough so that I loved the show, and saw the multiple time on that deployment.
