It also speaks to how much control her Uncle kept for her, over her career and choices, as part of her contractual agreements. From what I've heard, Republic gets to record and distribute her work, but not much else. You will never see her being over used or exploited and burned out for quick profits, like what happens to so many new artists.

I also am elderly. only 68 but have been going back through music, makes me realise that music speaks to everyone that has a heart and it carries on through time bringing joy to millions. watching reactions videos has reminded me of Angelina, i first found the clip of her first performance in norway, that was around 5 years ago. then just today found her catalog of covers has grown to over 140 and she had just released her own composition, such a beautiful voice and now also a beautiful young lady, her song is so powerful i can predict a very long career ahead of her. I certainly hope I survive to see and hear many more.

Sabina, it is hope. Watching her sing, or listening to her sing, or just thinking about her radiates a warmth within me that is so different. She is more than Angelina. She is an example for all of to see what we can be, humanity at its finest. She remains so humble and her goal in life is to make the world a better place to live and she strongly believes this is not possible without the people of the world beginning to love one another. When she touches our hearts we become better people. Kinder, more caring, more loving. We treasure her like she is family and in a very beautiful way many of us have never felt like this about anyone in our lives before. I know, that is a very extraordinary statement to make but think about it. Hopefully, all of us have had love in our lives, and still do, but the love she touches us with is apart from other such emotions. She is so genuine and so confident and committed we don't doubt her for a minute about where she is leading us. Yes, leading by example. Sabina, she hasn't been marketed during this wonderful journey she is taking us on and when the day comes when she begins her full fledged career and her marketing explodes globally, every person in the world will know who Angelina is. Something else to think about. There will be challenges ahead for her but I believe she will be prepared to face them. Sabina - I’m an old (75) subscriber to your channel who thinks your reaction to Angelina here was spot on. Specifically, the comment about her whole being and its effect summarized well how I’ve felt about Angelina ever since I first stumbled onto her around 3 years ago. After listening to Angelina the first few times and becoming somewhat familiar with her as a person, it became obvious to me that she was both a special talent and human being. Ever since then, I’ve looked upon her with grandfatherly love and affection, as well as awe concerning her talent. As an American, the years of Trump were nothing but ugliness and ignorance, and listening to music was a way to be reminded that beauty still existed in the world. @@nfpnone8248 She didn't speak it that well at age 8. She sang in English, but that was more like parroting. Many adult singers sing in foreign languages they don't speak (opera in German, Italian, etc).

This one gets me every time still!! Then to find out she wrote about her grandfather. YIKES!!

I like your comment "she sound so organic". It is good way to describe how I feel as well. It feel so natural and effortless. I'm not singer but I really enjoys the finesse in vocal arrangement. I normally do not appreciate singers that use lots of embellishments but with AJ it is always done in such a tasteful way. It's never overdone. It is true artistry.

She has sang live on U.S. TV shows such as ABC’s The View and NBC's Prime Time Hit Series Little Big Shots starring Steve Harvey, which was watched by more than 10 Million People. Supporting a good cause, Angelina recently performed at the RAINFOREST ALLIANCE GALA held in New York in the American Museum of Natural History. She then flew to LA for a photo-shoot with Vogue and 14 American Astronauts at the fundraiser for the California Space Museum. Capping off her recent trip the the States, Angelina performed at the star-studded Kaleidoscope Ball in Los Angeles to raise money for Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA. Despite her worldwide fame and notoriety, Angelina remains a child at heart with an innate ability to connect with others through her performance and genuine inspiration. While traveling Angelina befriended a little shoeless girl who didn’t believe she could grow up to be a doctor. Angelina did what came natural to her, she gave the little girl her shoes and told her to not give up on her dreams. Since then Angelina has performed in stocking feet or barefoot in honor of that little girl’s dreams, and every other child’s dream around the world. william When she was 5 she pleaded with her mother to appear on NGT. The minimum age for entry was 7. When she turned 7, her mother relented and she was allowed to audition for the show. She had turned 8 before her semi-final performance of Bang Bang, going on to win with her rendition of Summertime.

how does she reach inside us and just rip our buried emotions out of us and bring them to the surface? I have never lost so many tears as she has caused me to. Nothing else to compare her to, that's my problem. Im 66 and love the female voice my entire life, but nobody has consistently done this to me. I think she was put here for a reason.

I discovered Angelina on AGT two days after my brother passed. It just so happens that Queen was his favourite band and Bohemian Rhapsody was his all time favourite song. I wept through her entire performance but since that day I have spent many hours listening to her and when she released Million Miles it finally brought me out of a fairly deep depression. My wife is not a really a big fan of Angelina but loves her for what she has done for me. I hope to plan a surprise vacation to Norway in July 2022 to see her in concert to celebrate our 56th wedding anniversary if all travel restrictions have been lifted. It’s now 2:00 AM Vancouver time on Saturday morning and I’m trying to compose this comment as I listen to her cover of All I Ask so I’m sure you will forgive my poor spelling and grammar.

Gorgeous reaction Sabina. I agree with you completely - at 5:06 you described her grasp on singing technique just as I would. But then again, it sure is not all about the technique. It's also the sound of her instrument, and her super tasteful choices on how she applies all of that to somehow touch our hearts. It blows my mind! There just is no one else like Angelina, and I'm not sure there will ever be. To me she's a 15 year old grounded girl, but also a musical goddess.

Her timbre just feels so good on the ears. If she just vocalized, scatted, an entire song it would be amazing. Someone made a remix of just two phrases over and over on top of chill beats for 10 minutes and it coulda been an hour easily. It was so soothing
