No one will ever replace Elvis, but come on, guys... you gotta admire this guys talent.
Whats beautiful about this is, he`s doing his version of the song and not trying to copy/outdo any other version. I`m an Elvis fan all my life and I bet he would be proud to hear this. Great reaction and please keep safe.
His grandmother loved the song, so he did it for her. He also played the piano.
I know you can't see him but that is him playing the piano in this.. Thanks!!
I love Tim’s version of this. I get chills every time I listen to it. He has the most versatile voice I’ve ever heard!

I agree never heard or seen someone else that can do 5 octave's...it's a ridiculously good gift to do this.
I love this stripped down version. Just Tim's voice and him playing the piano, what an amazing gift this guy has. I always loved Elvis's version, too. But...this is so, so different, so clean, so crisp. And they way he slides up and down those scales...perfection at it's best! Thanks for another great reaction.
I'm a huge Elvis fan and usually don't like covers of his music so when I ran across this the first time I said OH NO! But I listened and don't tell the Elvis appreciation society but this is what I reach for when I want to hear this song

MittyKitty his version is also a cover. It is an old love song from France called Plaisir D’amour
Heard this song many times, but this is the first time it has ever made me cry. He did a beautiful job better than the original.
OK. Some of y'all gonna want to kill me, but I never particularly liked this song sung my Elvis. Heresy, I know. But true. Tim's performance made me fall in love with this song. His runs and range are nothing short of stunning. What a sweet, sweet voice with such depth and color. He is so damned talented. FYI he is playing the piano in this one. PLEASE react to What We Aint Got.
Hy Michael, you know that us Elvis fans react very sensitively to cover versions. But his voice is great, he doesn't try to copy Elvis. He finds his own style. And i have a certain feeling, that he sings the song with " respect". Well done, Time 👍
His vocal range is Staggering! Love it!
I agree with you. Tim has an amazing voice. Not all basses can carry a tune in bass, let alone sing in tenor!
I love, love, love Tim's version. The 5 octaves he is gifted with is stellar especially when you shows parts of that range in songs like this. He could sing the flippin' phone book and I'm all in! A side note: I came across a young man on the Ellen show that is physically different than most but is an absolutely stellar piano player (3 fingers on one hand and one finger on the other) and he performs an original. Simply beautiful, I thought you might want to watch it for yourself not necessarily to react to. Thanks so much for what you do Michael you do make me smile especially when you get that ornery look and I know you're going to back it up and play a certain part or parts again. And again. And again. I love it and look forward to it. Awesome!
It's always hard for me to hear a song that is a classic and done by an icon like Elvis, being changed in any way. On that note, since jumping down the rabbit hole that is Home Free and it's members, I've learned to give it a full fledged chance and not pre-judge. This was an amazing rendition which stayed true to the Elvis version, while still maintaining the style in which we've gotten to know and love from Tim. There's room for love to be given to multiple versions. Thank you for doing this reaction. ❤
Wow! I hadn't heard this before. This is amazing! I love it.
I agree, he killed it! So smooth
Oh, yes indeed! I love his cover! He recorded this for his grandmother. I believe, because she loved Elvis! His voice is so good in this (ok, all the time). His falsetto was amazing and those runs he did toward the end were phenomenal, but not overdone! Love it!!! Thank you for reacting to this , and defending his talent!!

He starts out deep and convinces you. Then he goes soft & tender. Then he shows his passion for you. And then he just gently holds you. Real love.

@@MadisonD941... That's a great analogy!
Oh! This was beautiful!
Amazing chops His range is ridiculous. Loved his albums before 4 home free
I'm a huge Elvis fan and that was beautiful ❣✌
Thanks for your reaction to this... I enjoyed it --- BOTH!!! But here -- for me .... AND I"LL SAY THIS!!! I Do Not Care What Anyone Else Thinks!!!! It is HANDS DOWN the BEST I Have EVER Heard... No One has ever matched this -- it SURPASSES ALL I have ever heard (and that's many!)!!! He does well on the pianer here too... just sayin' Be Safe
Great reaction, man! I’m a huge Elvis fan, but I still still love this version. I love singing this in the car with Tim.
I wish there was video to this, but the song is beautiful and I like his version of it and listen to it often.
🔥🔥🔥🔥Perfection Tim’s arrangement; piano playing and That VOICE; and such a Cool 😎 Nice Guy! Multiple talented for Sure!😍😍😍🙆🏻♀️🔥🙏🏽✌🏽
A great version of a beautiful song hat's off to Tim.
I love Tim's version, great reaction A wanted to take a moment to thank you for doing these reactions during these trying times, watching your reactions has made me smile and laugh.
So beautiful. I prefer Tim's version. I can feel the meaning of love in this version. TY for sharing.
Great reaction!! It certainly was FIRE!!!
Yaaaasss been waiting on this one
Elvis and Tim. Could have been a great combo. Great cover.
Thank you for another great reaction Tim is a very gifted singer and song writer in his own right and I want to thank you for looking past any labels or category and seeing the talent not only of Tim but everyone you react to alot people forget it's not easy to do something like this for the world to judge another great song he does is "I Dare You" you won't be disappointed
it sounds like Tim is singing in a very restrained soft voice especially at first and he stays smooth even doing that.
Can you imagine being able to sing this on your knee with a ring in front of your lady.....the ultimate romantic moment. And whoever said this wasn't good was just flat out crazy...this was amazing
🔥🔥🔥💜Gorgeous..As a musician myself, this was awesome!!💜💜
Lovely version! Thank you Tim and thank you, Drama, for sharing
I like Tim's Rendition. I also like others. You can like more than one. People are odd. Sheesh! Thank you! ^_^
Love it, smooth and beautiful!
Amazing range! Dudes bad to da bone! Like your reaction too bro! You have ears for the technical aspects that we ordinary people don’t and I appreciate your perspective my man. 🙏 Thanks!
Wow! Swooning women everywhere! Ladies are being slayed! This is how it should be done! Take notes gentlemen!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥♥️
Excellent reaction as always. It sounds like he is covering at least three octaves, and that is amazing in itself.
I hadn't heard this version before, it was just beautiful. I love his voice. I loved your reaction too.
Those runs toward the end, though!
Love this version. Tim has an awesome voice and it makes me melt every time I hear him.
This is lovely, thank you very much for reacting to it. If you're looking for something else from Tim, there's a video on his channel that he did with the guys he did his solo album with, a "country-fried" version of Lady Gaga's Edge of Glory - it's well worth watching, imo.
I believe The King would have been impressed and very much a fan!
I am and always will be a huge Elvis fan. Having said that Tim gave us a uniquely different version of the song. There really is room for both.
I agree it is FIRE!
Thank you. I knew you would like it☺
never heard his version before. I loved it. some people just gonna hate.
I agree FIRE!!
This version almost sounds like a hymn. We do ask God to take our hand and give our lives to Him. Tim did a great job.
Great Reaction. I agree, that was fire. i really liked Tim's version. You should react to We Three Kings by The Hound & the Fox featuring Tim Foust.

The temperature here in Montana is in the low teens and there's a fresh layer of snow, so it would be appropriate for now. And it's magnificently done song!
Beautiful. What's not to like? I can't help falling in love with this song.
Most gifted singer, EVER
Had to listen twice, Tim made grandma proud❤️❤️❤️
Go Tim! Most beautiful thing I've ever heard!
Judge each don't compare them. Love both .
its awesome & amazing ! Kudo's to Tim
Thanks drama, didn’t know Tim did this. Keep up the good work!
Agree!
Yes, I love this version by Tim - and that's not to say I don't love the song by Elvis too, However, perhaps a bit of personal bias has me leaning towards's Tim's version for preference! I love your reactions, so knowledgeable and fair. Thanks for that! If you get time, please react to Home Free's live version of 9-5 (with the beatboxing breakdown) - you will be astounded. Also, one of their early-ish songs, Fishin' In The Dark/Boondocks mash-up is worth a reaction. It's another of Adam Rupp's complicated arrangements, and the guys nail it. Cool, fun video too.
Elvis was ELVIS but Tim is a force and this was beautiful and very respectful to the King.
You need to listen to his one=take performance of Greensleeves with Pete Holden’s! His range is amazing!! Nice reaction!!!

Jan Kreps Tim did Greensleeves with Peter Hollens. The video was done in one take but I think the audio was layered/mixed/mastered (whatever the right terminology is) in the studio...there are more than two voices during parts of the song. Both Peter and Tim are singing multiple parts.
Yes, just WOW!
I love his cover!
Loved it. Tim is the man.
I agree with you
He's on 🔥
I love Tim's version and i love to sing it myself in day to day life. Now, for the person that said that it's not good, first of all, taste, i get it. Everyone's entilted to an opinion about certain things and music is one of them. But if that person is a fan of Tim then i know why say it's not good. They're probably used to Bass singing in general and addicted to it that they just want to hear low notes and such. But that takes singing out of the picture. Singing is about emotion and expression. Low notes and high notes do matter, i'm a Bass myself and went through that period in my early teenage years where i was addicted to trying to hit lower and lower notes, trying out techniques and such but i never called that singing. That's just making a sound. Home Free and other groups like Voiceplay do give credit to Bass in general, with many strong lows from Tim or Geoff. But there needs to be a climax. Not every few second, simply overdoing it. It takes the fun of it away. Just try and deliver a message through your voice when singing, either that's a cover or an original and leave extended vocal range tricks out of it for a change. You'll quickly realise that it's not easy and it takes passion and practice.
We Three Kings by The Fox + The Hound feat. Tim Foust!
Bravo.
I can't stand haters and trolls.
I love this version it's not Elvis but no need to compare both are great love Tim as higher voice
I like this one and Pentatonix cover also. And of course the original!
have you seen their video of MY CHURCH?

Could you do Marty Robbins. The Master's Call, or El Paso.
I think the critics are, witthout realizing it, being influenced by the difference between his piano playing and his singing. Honestly, I found it a bit distracting. But singing was over the top great. Also, I agree with you that zero-sum thinking has no place in enjoying music. Its not about who is best. Its about individual artists making a performance, even a cover, an expression of what they feel. In way, Tim, and all of Home Free, remind me of the late, great Eva Cassidy, who was a master of being her own person and doing her own thing as an artist, and enriched the lives of of all who heard hew new interpretations of old classics. I think Tim should consider a remake of this with Austin's pianist Sebastian. I think the result would be every bit as good as Elvis' version in its own right. Back to Eva - DramaSydE, if you ever see this comment, please react to Over the Rainbow. You will find that it will start you on a jouney every bit as rewarding as the Home Free journey.
Are you gonne do more Snarky puppy? Love the videos!
You should do muddy waters or howlin wolf. It's good to listen to sum delta blues fo the soul trust me you'll thank me later
Those who didn’t think it was good, probably weren’t listening with headphones on...

or they must be deaf, headphones or not this was just simply gorgeous....
Whoever said this wasn’t very good... your ears are broke
If you haven't already, I'd love to see your take on YEBBA , My Mind or Evergreen ❤️ @dramasydetv
Pls react to Peter Hollens ft. Home Free "Amazing Grace"
For the record you cant compare Tim to anyone else.
You are the production guy. Was not that piano a little clunky, even out of tune a little? It sounded like the old upright that was in Sunday school class. Tim was fine, and even played piano.
Great version but cant beat elvis.
I love Tim, but I was weaned on Elvis. As hard as it is for me to say, I prefer Elvis' version to Tim's. Tim's voice is always lovely. For me, the piano just didn't do him justice.
