In these situations the parents will react in either of this two ways: They'll get furious and if nothing really happened they wont believe you because "How could you". Or they won't believe you and will tease you for a long time because it was too good of an opportunity for nothing to happen. And let me tell you, the second one hurts more than the first.

Kids shouldn't have romantic partners. Most of the parents remember how "Well" things worked out with their romantic partners when they were kids, hence, trying to prevent history from repeating itself.

The best part is when you realize that technically her Pokémon cards are from her parents, her dad was like "Honey? I'm home" and her father discovered watching his cards in the bedroom. She will probably looks at his boyfriend and say: RUN!
