+Alejandro Zuleta Yes , it"s a very good car . My boss got one 7 years ago and since then he did only basic mentenance ( oil , filters , steering power link steering geometry . And shock absorbers at 200 000 km ) . A solid , simple , good car .

+Cory T actually most don't make slack, most rally drivers in this country have started on their own, losing money not making any in this sport, the lucky ones are the ones who get sponsored and they don't have to spend an arm and a leg on new car if they decide to step up their game the downside on those is they will be under more pressure to finish each stage on a podium, the even luckier guys are the ones who can start early at age 10 if they have parents who race

+Jonathan D this one is cool, the mayor form my city cut off rally stages completely... the last hill climb (vtm = speed on mountain track) was held back in 06 since then only private car parks are available for us here locally :(

+Ian Kapp true, but on stages similar to these it's more the skill of the driver than his car what counts, those dacias are notorious to roll over on full slick tires and dry asphalt and from what I can see the one in this video has a valid license plate so it's also road legal. I've often seen new people come in rally events where road cars are permitted and crash in the first corner plus you might have 170hp if you fall in special category with the guys running 2.0+ cc's because guess what there are some with 300hp there (not only that but most also have a valid rally driver id or whatever are they called in english), this sport is not as simple as drag races, here you need a strategy and to make some compromises to finish all stages, because even a slow time and crap place on one stage will push you up 1 place if someone from your class fails to finish or doesn't show up on 1 stage, so it's a mix of skill, luck and knowing how to plan ahead

+Teo Dex Pe apa cu gheata si ceva zapada, e normal sa mearga usor. Mai ales ca au mers cu pneuri semislick de uscat. Dar pe tine nu te "bate engleza", de aceea n-ai inteles ce-a spus Tiff... Si sa nu cumva sa incerci vreo comparatie intre cei doi piloti. Tiff a fost, totusi pilot de F1 si e inca pilot profesionist.

Teo Dex Nu am presupus, sunt convins ca n-ai inteles-o, precum n-ai "prins" nici faptul ca in cursele de VTM nu conteaza "spectacolul" cu scartaituri si fum la roti, ci timplul. Iar scartaiturile si "ruperea de aderenta" inseamna timp pierdut. Pilotul care face o cursa contartimp curata, fara "efecte speciale" e mai rapid decat "zgomotistii". Ce spui tu ca ai vrut sa spui, n-are nici o legatura cu ce ai spus de fapt. Acum incerci sa o dregi. Clasica replica cu "n-ai inteles ce am vrut sa spun" nu mai merge. Sau poate vrei sa explici pe larg ce inseamna expresia "zici ca au avut ratie la benzina". In nici un caz nu inseamna ca trebuiau sa rupa aderenta. Si stai linistit, cei de la Fifth Gear stiu foarte bine ce masini "praf" produc romanii. Sa nu uitam ca Fifth Gear le-a testat deja si concluziile lor nu prea vorbesc de "praf". In plus, chiar daca masinile ar fi "praf", asta nu s-ar datora exclusiv romanilor. Mai sunt si altii in frunte cu Gosn, a se citi Gaozn, implicati. Asa ca las-o mai usurel cu anti-romanescul asta, ca nu mai e la moda.

Cool video, but the dacia is really riced out. Fitting a spoiler on a front wheel drive...i suppose there are other facts i don't know ( actually i hope there are other facts) 'cause a spoiler on a fwd will actually slow the car down
