Singing challenging songs like this 2-4 nights a week or for a marathon tour is very hard on the vocals...as a lead vocal, your voice is your instrument in the band and it is is much harder to keep it up than playing, night after night, any of the instruments.

why dont they just hire this guy to sing in skid row instead?
