Skid Row was miles ahead of most other bands of their time. They had a great frontman that could sing his ass off. They had 2 great guitarists. One was more technical and would slay and the other was more bluesy with a lot of feel and they had a solid ass rhythm section that would drive the band. They also had a fantastic writing team in Dave “The Snake” Sabo and Rachel Bolan. I’m a huge fan of their debut album. The first time I heard youth gone wild was also the first time seeing the video on MTV and being a 16 year old rocker it spoke to me right away. I love that album so much. Then they released slave to the grind and it blew my mind. I miss that original lineup so much. SKID ROW!!!!!

I agree,go check out Hunter,the winner of this seasons' the voice US.......their voices are exceptional and he is the only other guy that could match Sebastian's scream especially when he sang 'higher' by creed and 'a little help from my friends'🔥🔥🤯🤯

They knew they were breaking up . Sebastian was stoned n high for sure but he delivered the goods . Gotta Love Rob Affuso ! Everyone seems to leave him out of the question . He was a big part of the original Line Up . Fantastic Drummer .

hard to find skid row videos with such great quality, and they sound so freaking good live

I simply do love to hear him singing.

These concerts are a lot better than arena shows. You can actually hear them play and sing and they seem to play better because of it.

The vocal delivery in this version is even better than the album version. It's raw, of course but the way he sings the chorus, there's so much desperation in his voice that makes the lyrics even more powerful. I love the album version but this one is even better. I just wish the sound guy had got the mix right, the band sounds kind of thin though no fault of theirs.

all you need is a 1 hit ballad and Japanese fans are yours, they will love and adore you faithfully.

this was my fav song from subhuman race. in portland oregon, into another got some pretty healthy radio play from 101kufo, and i was bummed that breakin' down didn't. my buddy had a cable access show where he played videos, and with the internet in its infancy, saw on aol at the time that mtv had played this video in the middle of the night. for a week, he set a tape on overnight to record hoping to get it. after a few nights, it finally got played. we must have watched that video a million times, as it never played again on mtv that we saw. long story short, he played the video on his show, and a lot of local people emailed him about what a great song it was. always wished it could have stood a chance on mtv, but the times had changed by then.
