Simulated Engine Failures - This week we cover what to do (or not to do) in the event the engine fails in flight.
Bit ropey on the basics during this flight. Last few flying hours have been focusing on the circuit & its clear I'm a bit rusty on the basics. Some good skills picked up here though, particularly in identifying potential landing spots, how to think about the 'cone' coming off of a runway, difference between slow turns and steep turns when considering altitude loss in a turn.
Useful lesson, really enjoyed it.
