Rockstar sucks ass. GTA 5 may have made a ton of money. But making online a grind, micro transactions, and never developing anything for single player, the game sucked.

Great to see a mention of Bill Williams. I've been a huge fan of his games since I was a kid playing his Atari stuff. I was sad to find out about his passing when the internet came along. So many great, unique games

I remember the arcade version. We had one in the local pizza shop. It was the kind of shop that never advertised, but was always packed anyway because all the locals knew about it, and all the school sporting events had pre- or post-game parties there. Damn good pizza, too.

I always thought the most well received simpsons game was hit and run

I never knew Bill Williams was behind Bart's Nightmare. Played it all the time when I was a kid, and while it did have quite a few flaws (most likely due to the corporate meddling that ran Bill off of games entirely), I still felt Bill's genius shining through, even before I'd known who he even was. Very bizarre, I'd even say underrated, game.

In an episode of the Simpsons as a 10 second gag: Homer plays tapped out, as soon as he taps the screen once a notification comes up stating that his credit card has been charged in the hundreds.

My favorite thing in *Simpsons: Hit & Run* was Homer line (while kicking people) "I keep making God madder and madder…" ESPECIALLY when combined with Flander's "I suffer for your sins."

I remember playing Virtual Springfield when I was a kid as well as The Simpsons cartoon studio where you can create your own episodes.

Loved Ape Escape. I still have the first PlayStation 1 concave analog controller that came with it before they went concave for the entirety of the PlayStation 1, 2, and 3 generations.

I've never watched or liked the Simpson's show but have always liked and been interested in their games!

I forget where I heard this, but I once heard that the SNES game Virtual Bart was the first game to have the show's cast come in and record original dialog, as opposed to just reusing old audio clips from the show.

the classic Simpsons games were all awesome back in the day. I remember I was like age 5-6 and going to the 711 store to get soda, candy, free 711 stickers, and then play the Simpsons arcade game. it was even more fun when me and my friends would find money lost underneath the 711 counters. $1, $5, $10, $20!!! and always found coins.

I remember that Simpsons arcade game! I was at a hotel for a few weeks with a couple friends a long time ago and there was this mini arcade room, and we saw this, so we decided to play it. We spent like, 2 hours and nearly 20 dollars worth of coins trying to beat it, and it we did. It was really fun.

The Simpsons Game was the first game to really show me how creative and clever of a medium video games had the potential to be. I had no idea you could recreate Springfield and run around in it via video games, or create the crossover I always wanted of Futurama and Simpsons. Things that seemed impossible to my young mind were shown to be real and possible through video games. I don’t think I’d be the same gamer I am today without The Simpsons Game.
