The one on the bottom right is my favorite.Something about the dark streaks against the white is fascinating to me. Thanks for another great lesson!

Thanks so much for parts 1 and 2. Great to see you applying the paint and, just as important, to hear your thoughts as you develop the work. Love the simple, limited palette. Less is more and you prove that in this video. I have been painting and teaching for many years. I discovered your videos just a few weeks ago and can see a marked difference in my work after watching you work which, I have to admit, has surprised me. Thanks a million. Have a wonderful Christmas. Wishing you love, peace and happiness. M.

Hello Marie Louise. Your every how-you-do video is wonderful and instructional. Thank you for making and sharing them Here is a quick tip I do when using tape. It prevents colors bleeding under the tape, and it leaves a sharp, clean edge around the art piece. Using any gel medium, and either a small bush or your index finger (as I do), brush or rub a small amount of medium along the inside edge of the tape. Let it dry, which it does quickly. Then paint away. When you remove the tape, it will lift easily revealing no color bleed through and clean, sharp edges around the artwork's four sides. This tip works a treat! JFB

Thank you for sharing this 2-part series! I always love watching your painting process, because it inspires me and also gives me the courage to experiment. I also loved seeing the winter wonderland where you are at the end. The snow is so pretty, even if I'm not a fan of winter. 😊

Thanks again for sharing the reality of these types of experiments - that sometimes they "work" and sometimes they don't, but that it all has value in our journey of discovery. You are a very encouraging teacher as well as an amazing artist☺️

I’m wondering how this would work out in watercolor which isn’t correctable and needs to be applied light to dark.
