Don't pry on the precision machined cam lobe! And you don't need to remove the spark plugs, the cam is easy to identify when any given lobe is at base circle. The Martinbuilt channel gives a proper tutorial for anyone seriously interested in taking on this doable job. And yes submerge the lifters in motor oil overnight or 24hours before installation. Always roll the engine over a couple times (clockwise) while watching the rockers to ensure you seated them properly. You could drizzle the cam and rockers with some Lucas oil stabilizer before reinstalling the valve cover too for good first startup protection.

Take your valve pan off and start it up the rocker arm thats moving differently will be it

So you have to make sure the cylinder head is down before you attempt to remove the rocker?
